lol your uncle and dad are sadly mistaken, Grady's not going anywhere...why trade the American League leader in homeruns and one of our best players?

We have him for a while, he's not going anywhere. When Casey goes, he's going to be starting third baseman, which is why they're putting Casey at first and giving Garko some time off as DH. I'm going to be completely honest, I've always said Andy Marte is an error waiting to happen, and yes, he did screw up today, but his offense hasn't been that bad..it's been decent. If you look at how much time this poor kid has had at the plate, that's the reasoning for him having strikeouts in bad situations where we needed a clutch hit..you really can't blame the kid. I have faith his defense will get better as he gets more starts at third throughout the year..and maybe everything will fall into place for at least a couple of these guys this year.
Oh and we have Grady signed till '11 with a Club option for '12..

thats what i told them. and then they laughed at me.
but im like oh we signed him till when ever we signed him
till. but my dad is like he's gonna get a better offer? somewhere
and they are gonna sell his contract. can they do that? hahaha.
i think my dad is sick of me liking grady hahaha.

Yeah your dad is either just messing with you or just really not up to date on anything Grady...he's not going anywhere until after 2011...Grady to the Indians is kind of like Lebron to the Cavs, very important if you want a championship here. And plus, the Indians know they got Grady for a steal, so they wouldn't let that go away. And he's not even hurting us right now, he's leading our team in everything, hits, doubles, homeruns, stolen bases....yeah Grady's not going anywhere...even if you listen to the news they say everyone's on the trading block except Grady.

Grady is DEFINITELY not going anywhere. If he goes, then we are COMPLETELY screwed.
Okay, so I'm watching the press conference, and Shapiro had said "It's not about guys not living up to expectations" and then he turned around and said "It's about talent that isn't living up to expectations" Umm, hello!?
Yes, we can trade Dellucci, especially with LaPorta coming from the Sabathia trade, but will we really get anything for him? The guy is slumping big time, and the guy's glove isn't exactly perfect.
And I HATE HATE HATE saying this, but I think we could get someone good for Casey. The guy is a GREAT utility man. You can literally put him anywhere (Even at shortstop! Haha). I really would hate to see him go, like, REALLY REALLY.
How long do we have Carroll? Just this year? But the thing I don't get is, if we wanna keep him as our utility man, he's just as old as Casey...and I think Casey has a better glove than Jamey does...

LaPorta is only in AA, I don't see him being up here anytime this year, and maybe not even until at least mid-season or so next year.

He's only in AA? I thought they said something about him being in AAA...or was that one of the other guys?

Well his wikipedia has already been updated, so I can't find where he was with the Brewers before the trade, but he's going to Akron... so he was probably AA with Milwaukee too.
