I think it's rude to not let us defend ourselves on that board. I didn't get to see what Tiffany wrote, but it didn't sound like we got all defensive, we just want people to know what we are really about. How are you gonna trash-talk us then not let us respond?

All this BS is pissing me off. If its the "Ugly Dudes" thread that upseting people, erase it I could care less. Everone is acting like they are all holy or something and we are the devil because talk about players looks sometimes?
This is all nonsense and it really makes me want to avoids these forums altogether, which sucks because I really like the friends I've made on here.
I am at the point where I dont feel comfortable being myself and saying whats on my mind anymore because I fear someone is going to come on here read it, take it the wrong way, and then go off and talk bad about me on another board. I am a NICE person, I am friends with many different types of people, I try to improve myself as much as possible but I'm not perfect. I feel like my personality is being judged by these stupid boards. I guess I take things too personally sometimes. |

I've come to realize that sometimes I've just gotta let this stuff go in one ear and out the other. It is absolutely beyond frustrating that there are people out there who feel the need to bad-mouth us, but I think it just comes with the territory. I try to defend us as much as I can, but sometimes, it just drains me. Why can't we all just get along?!?!?! Or atleast just ahve some kind of respect for each other. Sooooo frustrating.
I do think I'm gonna look for the "ugly guys" thread and delete it. We shouldn't really be promoting that kind of harshness. I want everyone to feel like themselves here and feel like you can say what you want (within reason of course). Not a huge fan of complete censorship.
The best piece of advice I can give to all of you is to just go with the flow. Probably sounds cheesy, but if you feel like you're being judged, just defend the group to the best of your ability without making any enemies. We really shouldn't have to "defend" ourselves period, but if it arises, I feel comfortable knowing that most of you could handle your own in explaining what we are all about.
We are an awesome group. Period. Let the haters be. We do good for the community and if people want to turn a blind eye to the charitable things we do, than so be it.

Definitely, let them say and think what they want. I don't care what they think about me, I sleep well every night knowing that the work we do raises money for charity and we keep the memory of our dear friend alive every day through the Ladies. Not to mention the amazing friends I've made through this group. So Ladies, brush that dirt off your shoulder and hold your head high. Don't give them any attention, because obviously that's what they want, to start trouble... so let it go. Be the bigger person and let it go, no matter how much you want to set them straight... once they have it in their heads that we're trash/bad/whatever, nothing will change their mind, just don't let it bring you, or the good people of this group down.
