I was checking out Sizemorefan.com because sometimes I look around to see if there are any pictures or videos I haven't seen yet, and I came across this forum and all they do is say how they don't want to be associated with the Ladies and hate it when people say they're one of the Ladies...I'll post the link here to the forum.

I just think some people say they're one of the ladies, and do these things that give us all a bad rep. If people would actually sit down and talk to us at a game they'd realize, nope that's not us, yeah sure we get a little crazy when he's at bat, but we're just showing love to one of the most talented centerfielders in the game! Of course guys are going to complain because they just think we're all groupies, but I'm pretty sure if there were a talented, but very attractive female playing in something they were watching and they went nuts everytime she did something, that they wouldn't be called groupies. But whatever, I thought I'd post that so you could see what people are saying...and to tell you to please don't act like that, I'm sure the founding ladies wouldn't want any of us to act that way, so we should just keep it classy like we have been doing and keep cheering on our boys.

I've posted this before in anotehr thread but I think this is a great place to repost it...

"Yeah, its defintiely hard being a Lady because people just assume since we like this guy that we MUST be stalking him. In my experiences as a Lady (mind you, I am one of the Founders so I've been around from the beginning, hehe), we aren't stalkers. I've met quite a few of these girls and that's not our intention at all. Sure, when we go to the games we try to get Grady's attnetion and we wait before and after the game to try and get his autograph, but does that make any one of us a stalker?!?!?! Heck no!

In fact, more times than not, this group is about the friendship and "sisterhood" factor for many of us. Sure, we created this group because we love Grady Sizemore, but it has become so much more than that. Most of the girls who post regularly on this board know that. Unfortunately, there are girls out there who "claim" to be Grady's Ladies and they just might give us a bad name. I know for a fact that there are some girls out there who aren't "official" members but make it a point to refer to themselves as Ladies. These are often the kinds of fans who annoy poor Grady to great lengths. Unfortunately, sometimes its their enthusiasm that may give us a bad name. Also, not saying all younger fans are like this, but many are...the younger fans seem to be more "eager" and scream-ish. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but I think sometimes people associate all Grady's ladies with that kind of behavior. Again, please don't anyone take that as any kind of a bash. I truly love the enthusiasm of our younger members, but sometimes people think that we're all just a bunch of young, crazy girls.

I have found that many people think that "Grady's Ladies" are all just a bunch of pre-teen and teen girls who simply drool over Grady. OBVIOUSLY, this is far from the truth. Sure, we have some pre-teen and teen members and of course we all drool over Grady at times. But really, its so much more than that. It really is. If you'll notice, the majority of us that go to games and interact with one another are older, more mature fans. And we certainly don't only drool over Grady. We know PLENTY about the game of baseball and we add our two cents in whenever we can. We are a group of highly educated women when it comes to sports. ANd most of the time, we just don't get credit for that.

Sure, one of the things that brough myself, Michelle (RIP), Hallie, Amanda and Jill to start this group was how handsome Grady was. But that wasn't all of it. We thought he was this great up and coming ball player and we truly thought he was going to be the future of the Cleveland Indians organization. We saw so much great potential in him that we decided to start this group.

We're a fun bunch of girls and we know how to poke fun at ourselves. Its fun to do that. But I think sometimes, people don't get the humor of our website. We seriously make fun of the whole "Grady is so hot" thing. Have you all looked at the website lately and read the biography?!?! It's seriously hilarious! haha. I think that maybe sometimes people take that all too literally and think all we do is drool over this guy. And sure, when we all get together at games, we drink, scream, act crazy and have a jolly old time, but that's us just having fun. Is it a crime to cheer really loudly for the guy that we made this group for?!?! I mean my goodness.

If only people could truly take the time to come to the boards, come listen to us discuss baseball (and other sports) and see that we are so much more than just a fan club. Honestly, I cherish and value this group like it is one of hte most important parts of my life...because it is. My best friends are a part of this group. And ever since we lost Michelle Mielecki, this group has taken on a whole new meaning. Some of you may not know this, but we were close to closing down this group when we lost our friend. But we didn't because we wanted to honor her memory by carrying on with the group. We do this all for her. We carry on in her memory. We built these friendships and sisterhoods because of her. Sure, this group is name after Grady Sizemore and he is the apple of our eye, but this group is FOR Michelle. And the fact that people have to dog on us just drives me up the wall! I'm sure you can tell that by how long this post is. haha.

So sorry that this is so long but this is truly something that strikes a chord with me. I hate hearing the word "stalkers" when it comes to this group. It really, really, really is so much more than that. If only people would take the time to realize that. Gosh.

Anyways, again, sorry for ranting and possibly not making sense, but I just couldn't help it.

And also, while I'm at it, I wanna take this opportunity to remind us all that when we wear our Grady's Ladies shirts or when we are all at games together, we must remember that we are representing this group. Let's ALWAYS have a fun time and scream and cheer and drink (if we're old enough, hehe), but always remember you're a Lady. If I ever find out that any of my precious Grady's Ladies follows Grady in his car out of the players parking lot or soemthing, I just might have to lecture you! haha. I just want the reputation of this group to remain fabulous and fun. Again, we can have tons of fun. But let's NOT give anyone a reason to call us stalkers. Right now, they truly don't have a reason, its just all a bunch of speculation. We can go to the player's parking lot and scream for Grady to come sign autographs for us, but let's not do anything creepy and stalkerish. LOL!

I have noticed this too Brittney and its unfortunite. Also I took pictures from the site yesturday without really knowing the trouble it would cause. I have appologized to them because I realize it was wrong to do so without giving credit. This is why I removed the All Star pictures.

The Ladies do seem to have a bad reputation with some and I've heard stories that I hope are not true. There is no reason for this hate between fans, its hard enough being a Indians fan as it is. I agree with Brittney, we are all adults and we need to act like it but still have fun and enjoy ourselves.

I agree, there is definitely no reason to have so much hate between fans, we all love the Tribe. Some people just take things too far. Just make sure to be adults about it and stay classy.

They posted a discussion about why they deleted the other post I informed you about, I agree with why they deleted it, to stop an argument from happening, but I kind of wish they left it so people can see why the Grady's Ladies are around.
