Karma is given to people if someone thinks a post they posted, lol I couldn't think of a better word at the moment, way too early, if they posted something really fascinating or they feel they made a good point, they give you karma. I hope I explained it without rambling on too much.

I don't think you can give or take away karma to/from yourself. I've never tried it though.

I don't believe there's any way to tell who is giving or taking karma, which sucks cause then it gives people a chance to be immature and take people's karma. Things have been good on this board for a while though, so there should be no need for negative karma -- I don't even know why anyone would feel it necessary to take it from anyone. If there are problems on the board, bring it to an ./phpbb_admin_pro/moderator, don't just sit there and take people's karma, that's lame.
But of course all you girls are awesome, so we don't have to worry about problems

I agree the fact that it's really immature..I had somewhere around 11 on Friday and when I came back this morning I had 4. I really don't care because people that do that are dumb and immature, and if they think taking away karma on the board is like revenge or something, that's sad.

I don't know why the karma thing is there or why they let you take people's away... maybe it's for more hostile boards, but I like to think of this boards as a peaceful place. No bad karma! (or drama, I hate drama...)

the only way you can tell if someone is giving or taking away karma is if 2 people are on the boards at the same time and then your count goes up or down. i've been smited every single day for the last week. someone on here seriously needs to grow up. because if we were face to face, this girl wouldn't be so "brave". we are supposed to be tribe fans supporting grady and the boys and talking about baseball and other fun things, not acting like grade schoolers and smiting people like bullies.
btw, did the tribe seriously get swept by seattle at home this weekend or am i hallucinating? 
let's hope Lee gets his 20th win tomorrow and turns the tribe's "karma" around! lol
