Has anyone thought about sending Grady something from The Grady's Ladies for his birthday? I remember one year hearing David Justice received flowers for his b-day. I know they're on the road for his b-day but we could send him something to the stadium they're at or we could send them early before they leave. If we send them early, we better think quick! |

I wouldn't mind doing something, but there is a real big time crunch. Not sure what can be done in such a limited period. If anyone has ideas, they need to be shared quickly, unless we don't mind if it's a bit late, like when he returns from road trip.

Yeah, I doubt he would expect us to send him something in Minnesota. How sad it must be to be away from home for your birthday. So, now the hard part: what to give him? I would say a card or something but not everyone could actually sign.

A card's good. It could just be from The Grady's Ladies. We could send him some flowers but that's kind of corny. It's too bad we don't know something that he really likes that we could send him in a gift basket of some sort. |

A singing card would be funny. I like that idea! Have to be a good song though. Yeah flowers seem to be something for a girl. Only thing I can really think of is chocolate, but I don't know if he would like that.

haha i bought a singing card for my friend that it was like these two mice or something and they were hopped up on coffee and they were "attempting" to sing happy birthday like mexicans or something. but what songs does he like? lol

I thought you would enjoy that. It is kinda funny.
I think that it's probably better to get a song for the funny factor than the "he likes it" factor. Especially if you want him to get a good laugh. Does that make sense?

You may need to talk to my friend about that one. She doesn't like Elvis.
But back to the card, if there is a song card that fits with Elvis it can work. Knowing since my mom works for Hallmark, there are plenty of funny ones. Someone just has to pick a clever one.
