Man, Mesa? You're lucky to have friends there. My cousin lives in Mesa and he won't even let me visit. That Meanie! lol.
P.S.-I have no idea on spring training but Debbie is right. Tickets aren't hard to come by expect for certain dates like rivals (Yankees, Boston, etc.) and Grady nights. Other than that it should be fine. _________________ *Janel* |

Debbie and Janel,
Thanks so much for the information for this out-of-towner!! It definitely will help plan what weekend I will come up there. I know they put the promotions on the calendar, so I will try to avoid big promo weekends. I just hope that now that they are giving Grady more time off, that he will be playing when I come to watch him! I would hate driving 4 hours to KC or flying all the way to Cleveland and not see our boy play!!
It would probably be more ideal for me to watch spring training (cheaper), but that is such a busy time of the year for me with my dog trials, so I am more inclined to think that trip won't work out. I'll have to see!
So, are any of you in Indians-game-withdrawls like me? Sigh.... LOL! I am JUST not in the mood for football right now. Especially the way the Browns are playing!!
Thanks again! _________________ Lorrie

Oh, and Debbie... thanks for letting me know that the Progressive Tour was well worth it! If I can get up there as planned, I will definitely make sure I go on the tour!! _________________ Lorrie

I'll be attending Spring Training March 8-14. We're flying our early Sunday morning and will be returning late Saturday night. I ordered tickets to both the home games that week and they just came today. I'll probably go to 1 or both of the away games but it depends on what my mom wants to do. Not sure how much it will cost now but we booked our flight/car/hotel back in the spring and it was roughly $1400 for two people. I hope more people can go. I can't wait!!! _________________
