So, I thought I'd post this out of curiosity to see who everyone is rooting for.
What are your ladies' thoughts on the ALCS/NLCS/World Series? Who are you guys pulling for? What's everyone thinking on this, because I'm sure wondering!

I guess I'm pulling for the Rays....I'm sorry but I don't like Boston...lol. I don't really care on the NLCS...any of them can go lol but maybe the Phillys...only because Blake is on the Dodgers...Too me that's like a slap in the face to see a guy that was on our team before go to the playoffs on a different team  But go Blake for making it that far again!

yep i'm with janel. i cannot root for blake and bryd's new teams. i'm spiteful like that. not to mention boston beating us last year so come on... boston teams are always taking cleveland teams down, damn you too celtics! plus, i cannot root for joe torre's dodgers...that's just wrong. so anyways, i'm pulling for the rays or philly, and really i HATE the NL, so if it comes down to rays and philly in the world series, i gotta cheer for the rays. i'm happy the brewers got knocked out early. cc choked, like he always does in the playoffs. what's up with that? kicks butt all year and then sucks come playoff time? who wants a guy like that on your team, who'll let you down come crunch time? i guess i'm just bitter, and i miss the tribe like hell right now.

it's not so much jumping on the bandwagon as it is rooting for the lesser of all evils. lol i'm not turning into a rays fan after this or anything. and i'm not gonna cry if a certain team beats another, i just know there are certain teams i can't back. with the tribe being out of it, i just assume all baseball be over with already.

well that's really all i have to choose from. lol and actually at the start of playoffs i did kind of want to see the cubs win, but again i was split on that cause i hate the NL. lol
if the red sox hadn't advanced, who would you be cheering for? one of the NL teams?

Hmmm..if there was no Soxtober this year...I would've probably pulled for...the Cubs, to be quite honest..maybe even the White Sox if they would've made it. But since those two teams are long over with, I'm not sure who I would've rooted for. I HATE the Dodgers, but I still love ManRam..so I definitely would've been torn big time there..

I hope the Rays go all the way, they're a true Cinderella story coming from being one of the worst teams in baseball to one of the best. I'm not a bandwagon jumper, because I'm not out there going "OMG, the Rays are my favorite team!!!" I'm just rooting for them since my team is out. Plus, I'm sick of Boston and the Yankees -- I'm so glad New York fell flat on their faces this season. I'm sick of seeing the same overpaid teams in the playoffs every year. I like seeing someone different like the Rays in there. I'm a true supporter of the underdog! The Rays have a lot of talent and some really cool guys  haha, "feels like I waited my whole life, for this one night..." *dances in the taxi* lmao... best. night. ever.

AMEN Michele! You hit the nail on the head. For me, not only are they a TRUE Cinderella story, but I live down here now. People can call me a bandwagon jumper all they want, but I'm not declaring the Rays my favorite team. I've said this for a while since I moved down here. I've adopted the Rays as my SECOND favorite team. And I'm rooting for them in the playoffs for that reason, for the fact that they're a Cinderella story, AND because, like Michele said, they guys on that team are a fun bunch of guys. Definitely the best night ever Michele. I agree.
And besides, I, like a lot of people are sick of the Red Sox as well. An overpaid team that buys their way into the playoffs most of the time is not a team I want to see winning all of the time. The Rays have the 2nd lowest payroll in the MLB I believe and look at what they are doing! They won the AL EAST for poop's sakes. That is HUGE! And do some of you not remember that they were the WORST team in the Majors last year?!?! What an amazing sports story. Even if you're not a Rays fan you have GOT to give that team credit.
I was at game 1 last night and was super frustrated that the Rays coudln't capitalize on a few scoring opportunities. However, I know they've still got a fire in them that should hopefully still lead them to the World Series. 1 game down but there's still a possibility that 6 more could be played. Don't count the Rays out just yet. Let's see how tonight and the other games go as well!
GOOOOOOOO RAYSSSSS!
By the way, Lil' Wayne was at the Rays game last night. They showed him on the scoreboard a few times. And guess what team he's reppin...that's right, THE RAYS baby!
