As of yesterday no they are not on the DL... I'm pretty sure both were in the game yesterday!! Correct me if I'm wrong cause as you know I'm not watching the games like ya'll are, but I don't think they were placed on the DL. & if they are or planning on being placed on the DL I will scream & you guys will hear me all the way at your homes!! LOL. _________________

No neither of them are on the DL. DeRosa is actually playing in the game today. He pinch hit for someone during the game yesterday but did not play the field. Garko cannot play in the game today due to his sprained wrist. He sprained it when he fell the other day at second and one of his swings irritated it. Our team doesn't need anymore stupid losses or injuries. We will be asking at the end of the season, who hasn't been hurt? _________________

a sprained wrist doesn't sound good, i mean doesn't that need time to heal? _________________

Yeah, I'm not sure exactly what the healing time would be for something like that. I think that the best thing is to give it rest. Oh and DeRosa got hurt by running into the Cubs' bullpen telephone going after a ball. _________________

Are our boys just accidents waiting to happen, or like a ticking time bomb!?! Can we have any worse of luck?? Can we have our starting line up back without ANY injuries???
I hope that rest will help Garko's wrist, but from what I've heard about sprains... It's not gooD.
& speaking of people being out of the lineup... Has anyone heard anything new on Sipp?? I really can't wait til they recall him. I liked him! _________________

For sure ridunkulous!!! Really starting to irk me. We need these guys, but can't seem to keep them at 100%. I'm unsure about how severe Mark's injury is, but I'm almost positive Garko will need a decent amount of time off. A sprain is pretty serious. Or at least it is in the basketball industry?!? LOL.
From what Yahoo is telling Mark had one at bat yesterday & he struck out... He was not in the game today as far as it says... Boy oh boy, I hope its nothing too serious! He was just getting on a roll. ;( _________________

OK, DeRosa seems to be okay with his bruised hip. He did play today although didn't do well with the bat since I think being in Chicago sent his emotions on a tizzy just like Wood.
I guess I didn't get the idea that Garko's was really that serious since he had hurt it on Wednesday with the incident at second and then he was playing in the game on Saturday. Guess we will just have to wait and see. _________________

Well gee I'm just way out of wack with these players injuries.. This vacation is nice & relaxing, but to be honest I wish I could just watch the Tribe games! I have no idea what is going on with my favorite people & that ticks me off.. LOL! I'm insane, but I just hate it.
I thought from Yahoo that Mark was out of the game today. Guess they just didn't update it yet, but they showed no AB's for him. I'm hoping that his injury isn't anything serious & he'll just be able to play it out. I also agree with you GsAngel I think that him & Kerry were under a little pressure with all those lovely fans in Chicago booing them...
As for Garko, I hope that your right GsAngel & that it isn't anything serious. I just know our Cleveland luck & it always turns out for the worst. Let's hope & pray this time it will go in our favor & that sooner or later we will have our TEAM back at 100%!
No one has heard anything on Sipp I'm assuming!! Anything new on the other pitchers (I.E. Westbrook, Carmona, Laffey?) & how about Cabrera & G???? _________________

i read they don't feel a need to bring Sipp back up here yet cause he's not doing anything better than what's already going on in our bullpen. _________________

Well, Chels from the last I hear Laffey was still doing well rehabbing and should still be back at the end of this month or beginning of next if it remains the same.
Westbrook, on the other hand, had a setback and needs to stop all throwing for I think it was 10 days. His comeback is now pushed back till end of July/early August.
Carmona is still working out in AZ and there is not even a mention of when he could get back.
Drubi is rehabbing well and should be coming back to team soon, maybe this week or next week depending on how they want to do his rehab.
Wow, that was a long update... _________________

OK, just read an article online from the Plain Dealer so here is more about Grady & Drubi:
Grady should be activated on Tuesday for the Pirates series. It states that the Indians left it up to Grady if he wants to do a rehab assignment or join the major league team, so we know what Grady wants.
Drubi is scheduled to be with Columbus starting today to do his rehab assignment. So hopefully this will all work out but keeping fingers crossed.
