i will miss Ben Wallace for sure though. hope Shaq can help us win the ship now. my biggest fear is the old saying "too many cooks in the kitchen". he better know his role on our team and he better be able to play in all the games we need him to. idk this trade actually makes me more nervous than happy...

I can't help it I really liked him & am also nervous about this Shaq pick. We need him to help us with the ship & that's it. He is NOT the leader of our team & he is not responsible for any of the calls. We have someone for that we just need someone to help him!!!

he can't play in back-to-back games, i mean is he gonna end up being more helpful or harmful? i really didn't want Shaq to be honest but all we can do is think positive and hope Shaq will work really hard with LeBron and co.

I must say that I think this could be a very good pick by the Cavs. I think that the two big guys will be good as a team, but Shaq still needs to realize that Lebron is boss!!

I think the deal is fantastic... Wallace was considering retirement, and we barely played Sasha (not that he didn't deserve playing time, but what good is he sitting on our bench?!). So if we get a year or two out of Shaq, we've made out big time. He'll put up better numbers than Wallace. Wallace seems to have tamed down a lot in the past couple years. Shaq may not be the answer, but it's still a good deal for what we gave up.

so now you guys know we're gonna have a bunch of non-Cavs but Shaq fans to deal with right? lol i didn't even think of that til one guy got on CF and posted this huge long thing about how he's loyal to Shaq and follows him wherever he goes and he'd "try" to like the Cavs next year. unreal. he thought it would be fine to join CF since a lot of Cavs fans are only fans cause of LeBron. i gotta tell ya, this did NOT go over well on that site. that dude got his butt chewed out. yeah i guess Shaq fans will be good for business but i can't help but feel a little ticked cause the long-standing Cavs fans suffered all this pain from losses and now this dude is gonna jump on board and be a fan? idk about that. someone replied to his post saying something like "welcome, but you better not ever compare yourself to the diehards on here". i thought that was pretty funny. lol
anyways, i can't wait to see who else we get because i still say we need a wing player, and prob another forward. i've been hearing Sheed, Charlie V, and Childress the most. it's gonna be interesting. we're gonna end up changing a chunk of our roster, it's kind of sad but i know it's necessary. i already miss Ben and his bell sound that they play at games when he dunks. awww.

That is a really funny story about the CF people. & I totally agree with them. No one can come close to the love & devotion that the Cleveland fans have for their teams!
Who else did they get?? I of course missed the whole thing!! I'm very interested?!?!

you mean the draft? i had limited internet access for the last couple days so i didn't post on here on draft night. our 30th pick was Christian Eyenga from Congo. speaks mostly French but is learning English. Danny Ferry said he'll prob stay overseas and play for a couple years and then they'll bring him over in the future. i saw some vids of him playing, he looks like he could be a good asset in the future. David Stern was seriously laughing when he announced our pick. i thought that was totally disrespectful. yeah he wasn't who i expected us to choose but Stern was rude. jerk.
our 46th pick was Danny Green from NC. he has potential to play with us next year so that's good.
and we also bought i think the 57th pick from PHX, another foreign guy named Emir Preldzic. he'll be another guy who stays overseas for now.
some ppl are pissed about the Christian pick but it's going to save the Cavs money by not having to pay him the 2 year salary. i think Danny did good. have faith

I like the picks.. Let's just hope that they like us & mesh well with the other team members!! Any other trade offers or deals going on?? Stern is rude & I expect nothing but ignorance out of him, because he is always disrespectful & disgusting.. LOL!
I can't wait to see what the Cavs do this season. I'm hoping for the best & know that in my heart this year was there friggen year, they just got robbed so they gotta come back out next year & retaliate hard core!!!

now that Orlando got Vince Carter, that's gonna be a better matchup for Delonte to cover. i don't think Orlando's gonna be any competition for us this year. i think we're a lock for the Finals. and we can fight it out with LA or San An.
there's lots of other possibilities for guys we can get, i've heard tons of names thrown out there. i'll keep ya updated when something actually goes down.

Orlando aint touching us this year. I know for sure that Mo & Lebron are still pretty upset about there loss to the fake Magic! I don't know how the rest of the team feels, but I know those two are more than likely still pretty upset. I just hope we don't go & get rid of Mo!?!? Any word on anything like that!! I think that the match up's this year will be awesome & I think were bringing the heat up to another notch.

Whooooo. Now I'm not so nervous. I can't say what these Cleveland sports teams will do & who they'll trade at any giving time. Happy to hear that there's no mention of Mo being traded, I love that guy & he is a great asset to our team.. Happy the Cavs are not making some Tribe moves!!

it's unlikely Mo or Delonte go anywhere but basically anyone else could be on the chopping block for the right price. i hope we re-sign and keep Andy though.
