I usually go in Gate A too, but Gate C opens earlier, so I go in there if I'm there early enough where the other ones aren't opening yet. You have to get to the third base line early! lol _________________

I'm guessing for autographs, right? I haven't done that yet. Only the players' lot. Are you allowed to be there even without tickets in the section? Do guys really sign? _________________

Sometimes they kick you out, but usually you can be there. That's how I got Jamey Carroll's autograph at the last rally. And the picture with him. Usually someone will sign, but of course they don't get to everybody. _________________ --Alex-- |

Oh ok. I guess I'll just have to try it out. Always looking for an autograph to add to my very small collection. Does Grady ever sign over there or is it better at the lot? _________________

I've seen Grady sign over there a couple times last year, but that's it. Your best bet is the lot, Debbie. _________________

Thanks, Bree. I may still go to the third baseline just to see who I can get. As I said, I don't turn down anyone's sig. _________________

Yeah, AC used to sign over there a lot when he was up here..but Jamey, Garko, Casey are your best bets over there! _________________

I wouldn't mind any of those guys. Garko doesn't sign in the lot so that may be a good chance to get his and you gotta love Casey!
By the way, Bree, am I going to meet you at this game or will you just hide out again? lol _________________

Garko signs at the lot sometimes..you just have to catch him when he does. Haha yeah, I've met Casey so many times..he remembers me. It's ridiculous, ask Holly about it hahaha.
Ahh no the only reason I couldn't meet you last time was because I got to the game barely on time and I just wanted to sit and chill by my 'pen. We'll deff meet up before hand this time though, because I'm planning on meeting all the rest of the Ladies this time! Haha. _________________

Yeah, I always catch Gark when he does a bee-line for his car. Usually I have a good view of that though since we stand right in front of his car. This time I'll be standing nearer to Grady's car though.
I'm glad that we will finally get to meet. We can see how alike we really are _________________

Hey peeps! Anyone know of anyone who wants a ticket to Saturday's game? Any one of your friends want to join us?!?! We've still got ONE ticket left for the rally and we're having a hard time selling it for some reason. If anyone knows of someone who may want it, please let me know ASAP!!!
Thanks! _________________

Yep, I do too! He's a cutie!
It's so nice to put faces to the people on the board. My friend probably wonders why I am doing all of this but hey she just follows along so it's fine. She's been seeing games and getting autographs out of the deal, so she can't complain. _________________

I know everyone was wondering who'd pitch for the rally game...
from indians.com:
Ginter likely to get Tribe start Saturday
Spot starter needed with Carmona mending, Sabathia gone
By Anthony Castrovince / MLB.com
DETROIT -- Indians manager Eric Wedge didn't want to go so far as to confirm it, but it is "most likely" that right-hander Matt Ginter will be the Tribe's starter for Saturday's game against the Rays.
The Indians need a spot starter in the wake of the CC Sabathia trade. Right-hander Fausto Carmona is still working his way back from a left hip strain and won't be available until after the All-Star break.
Ginter is 6-6 with a 4.14 ERA in 18 games, including 17 starts, at Triple-A Buffalo this year. He was pulled from his start against Syracuse on Tuesday after tossing three scoreless innings, which is an indication that the Indians wanted him ready for Saturday.
The 30-year-old Ginter has 92 games of big league experience under his belt, including 15 starts. He pitched for the White Sox, Mets and Tigers between 2000-05. This would be his first promotion to the Majors since '05.
"He's a warrior," Wedge said. "He's a guy that keeps pitching and doesn't give into the fight. We saw him this spring. That's what's nice about big league camp is you might not see a guy for three months, but you can reflect back on conversations or what you saw from him in the spring."
As for Carmona, he is scheduled to throw a 50-pitch simulated session Thursday. If all goes well, he could be ready for a rehab assignment in the Minors. The Indians expect him to make a minimum of two Minor League starts before he's ready to rejoin the rotation. _________________ ~*Michele*~ |
