Cavs Get:
Joe Smith
Ben Wallace
Delonte West
Wally Z
Chicago's 2nd Rounder.
Cavs Give:
Gooden
Marshall
S Brown
Hughes
C Simmons
That was posted on the Cavaliers website in a forum, and it's been said on the radio. I don't know if I necessarily like it at the moment, but it's done. _________________

Ok this is why I hate ESPN, they just said that it's not Shannon Brown and that it's Ira Newble now. And the only one that has been traded is Larry for Ben Wallace at the moment and the rest is still going down. _________________

I'm gonna keep track of this the next few days and hope it's not true. _________________ --Alex-- |

I really don't want to give up Larry because he's been doing really well, that and I don't really want Ben Wallace. _________________

I don't like Ben Wallace and I don't think they should have given up Hughes and Gooden. Those guys are starters. _________________ --Alex-- |

Well they're saying Ben Wallace is going to be our PF instead of Drew, but I just wouldn't have given up Larry, he was catching fire.... _________________

I'm still not happy about the trade, but I hope it works. I'll always be a Cavs fan, just from living here my whole life, but I think now I might start watching some Bulls games. I think Ben Wallace said it best when he said basketball isn't a game anymore, it's a business. I'm just glad Larry was happy about the trade. I didn't know he was unhappy here and I hope it works out for his career. _________________ --Alex-- |

He was unhappy here cause he couldn't play how he wanted. His offensive style doesn't match what the Cavs are doing. If he can get to play how he wants to, he'll be a much better player. I think all around this trade will be good for everyone. _________________ ~*Michele*~ |

Well I know tonight it won't help us, we're down to only 6 players, because of course our new guys have to pass their physicals. Some people on the radio said that they could sign some d-leaguers still, is that true? I don't know much about after the deadline on doing that stuff. Does anyone here know? _________________

Well they don't sign them, they just bring them up. _________________ ~*Michele*~ |

I thought they had to sign them to like a 10 day contract or something, or is that if they just like them? _________________

They did sign two d-leaguers to a 10 day contract because duh I forgot they have to have at least 8 players. _________________

The D-league is like the minors for baseball, you can bring people up if you need them due to injuries. _________________
