did i call this though or what?
i think he should have just already had the surgery and he could have been recovering by now. it's not like the Tribe is going anywhere this season sadly. i think he's being too stubborn. it's stupid to play through pain. he might make himself worse. someone needs to tell that boy to just do the surgery now...... _________________

I read that article in the Dealer yesterday morning while drinking my mornin' cup of Joe!! I felt the tears running even though I tried to hold them back, "WHYYYY??" is all I thought. It's sad to say, but as Marie stated we are NOT going far this season. G, get it over with now that way when next season comes & next ST comes you'll be ready to play hard & show em that your still the best!
I knew in the back of my head that he was not back completely, but hearing this in the newspaper literally broke my heart. I just wish we could count on Indians to lead us to victory this year, specially after the Cavs season!! ;( _________________

if he had his surgery now, think of all the recovery time he'll have. i really wish he'd just do it now and save himself from anymore pain. what if he waits til October to do it, and then there's like a setback or something and he needs another surgery and/or more time to heal? it might cut into ST time. it's unavoidable now, he needs the surgery, you know it just makes more sense to do it now. _________________

Someone needs to tell him to quit being a hard head. He is only trying to help the team to Victory, but he is also hurting himself BADLY in the mean time. This can turn into a very serious injury, it could turn into numerous surgeries & it can also lead to a lifetime of pain for our poor G. Nip it in the bud now G & than when ST comes around next year you should have had enough rehab to keep you strong & the G that we all want around!! Not saying we don't want you around now, we just want you to be BETTER. Do the surgery now G, PLEASE!!!!! _________________

i don't understand why Grady is still playing. i've been saying that for weeks now. the Tribe is not making the playoffs this year, he has no reason to keep playing hurt #1 and #2 yeah he's taking someone else's spot who could really use that spot and the practice up here. idk what Grady's thinking is on this. he's just gotta be afraid of the surgery and so he's prolonging it which i don't think is smart. thoughts? _________________

I'm gonna have to agree with you. The best thing to do is get the surgery done with, unless he is trying to take the risk of being still injured when ST starts up next season. This is really making me nervous & I'm starting to wonder what kind of thoughts are running through Grady's head, but also what every one else is thinking... Are they telling me to go for the surgery or what?!? I just get nervous with surgeries. _________________

people have surgery all the time and if he's going to Cleveland Clinic he'll be in great hands. he shouldn't be nervous about surgery, he should be more nervous about playing hurt and what might happen if he injures himself more by prolonging surgery. _________________

With out a doubt he needs to go & get surgery. & I agree Cleveland Clinic is the best place to be. He has no reason to be nervous, but I do understand why he is. I wish I could just walk up to him & be like G, go get that surgery done there is nothing to be scared of!!
He knows what he needs to do, but is being stubborn. _________________
