Beyond being one of the best damned Rpers around, Lauren is also one of the greatest graphic designers. An Rp addict like no other, she's just as comfortable in the skin of a vampire named Spike as she is a spoiled brat named Shannon. Avidly a fan of Boone, Shannon was the easy choice once she joined up with us at The Island, and she is making the character more and more likeable with each post. When she isn't Rping (which is rare) Ande is going to be listening to The Beatles or Elvis, or going to classes so she can become an even more amazing graphic artist.

That latest Jace post was so effingly sad that it really shook my nerves. It was most excruciatingly well-written, and the emotional layer was just the icing of the cake. Marvellous. |

neways, i loved your last sarah post. i feel sooo bad for her right now. i think you summed it up best in this line:

cause she's going through this huge thing, and at the same time the situations on the island are forcing her into having to move past it far too soon and that's making this huge thing even harder.

I so love that line. Short, simple and yet it sums up so much and speaks of more than itself.
I love how you, each time you post, baffle me with your writing skills. There is a lot of wickedly talented people on this board, and your constantly exceeding writing skills never set out to disappoint -- I don't know anyone else that can write descriptives quite as you, tweaking and perfecting each sentence into illustrious grandeur.

Lauren is one of those people you occasionally want to grab a bat and have a swing at. Not because she's done anything bad to deserve it -- other than constantly denying the greatness in her writing and never being satisfied with any of her writing, of course. Her writing skill is unique to her self, and one I'm in constant awe of. Her descriptives, her style that blendes a sense of poetic verse with the realness that is Lost; it's her own and nothing could take that away from her. One of the best writers I've ever had the pleasure to come across, she's also a good friend.  |

I am envious of Lauren's ability to Rp with herself. That, my friends, takes talent. I mean I can talk to myself through IM no problem but actually writing out detailed expressions and having a decent conversation ---- not everyone can do that. Good job Laur. ;)

that's v. true. and the whole jace/shannon thing, i didn't expect that at all up til the moment shan confirmed it!! at first i was just like "silly blind boy is sooooo confused!!"
now i'm going OMGWTFhasshannonbeenupto??? :O and i love this whole twist, it's so lost. i hope lots of flashbacks occur from this 
you managed to take a ded character and flesh her out completely, that takes mad skillz, yo!

i think i love being impressed by your posts so much more than when i'm impressed by anyone else. simply because you and i have been writing off/with each other for what....four years now RPing?? and the leaps and bounds you've taken with your writing just FLOORS me. you just constantly evolve your talent.
i'm so amazed at how you infuse words i would have never in a million years considered to perfectly articulate your characters inner workings. you feel their angst. you feel it when they feel it--always.
i think you're the person here who i could see myself sitting down and cracking open a novel with your name on the cover and just reading it without being able to put it down.
(this is after reading your feb 19th jace post, if you were curious. I KNOW I'M BEHIND IN READING POSTS STFU LOL!)

So, you know. I never say this enough. But you have amazing talent. When I first joined this board, I couldn't believe the talent. But it was one of your Shannon posts, one of your many Shannon posts, which made me LIKE her! And I hated Shannon! I remember thinking you were like...Some kind of pixie with your amazing artwork and equally brilliant postage. And I was even more shocked to discover you're actually just a human!
