1. The main RP on this board: The Island, has posting priorities at any times. One-on-one RP-ing is purely to kill time in between updating there.
2. First make sure to have a playing partner, good starting point and split up the characters before even posting a new RP.
3. One RP per thread. When you start the first post should contain the name, an explanation of where in the story you kick off, the names of the persons who play and the characters they portray.
4. Storyline is not related to the main RP on this board. It has to be original and independent and of course still about Lost.
5. A maximum of four characters can be put into one RP.
6. You can be in only three one-on-one RP’s at the same time.
7. Keep your role play active. When no-one posted in there for a valid reason within 6 weeks the RP is closed.
8. Create an OOC thread [here] to discuss storylines etc. If you can’t contact each other easier through IM. Name it after the title of your RP with the letters “OOC” after it. Don’t put one-on-one discussions in the OOC thread from the main RP.
9. Don’t double post. The edit button is your friend. Use it, love it.
1. This is a para RP. At least two paras are expected. Proper punctuation and please try your best at Spelling.
2. Canon is a necessity at this RP. That doesn't mean you can't stray from the storyline--but work hard to know your character(s). Don't do something completely unlike how they would act, unless you have a very valid reason. Try to incorporate things that have already happened in the show.
3. Headers are a requirement for every post . They go as follows:
Character Name:
Location:
Who They Are With:
Example:
Kate
The Beach
Sawyer, Jack & Locke
4. You are expected to read every post in the RP.
5. Please use the OOC, the more discussion the smoother things will run.
6. No Autoing--you cannot speak as or for a character that is taken by your partner. _________________ And all the roads that lead to you were winding
