Okay, some rules are important for any message board. A lot of them are obvious. Any problems with anything need to be taken up with your admins:

1. First and foremost--be nice to everyone. If anyone ever feels someone else here has acted inappropriately towards them, you need to PM me (or if the issue is me, one of the other admins) and the situation will be dealt with deftly.
2. This is an Rp board. There is some room for random chat (even a specific part of the board) but it should be kept about the RP itself primarily. There are lots of amazing places to chat about Lost itself. I understand we have to talk about the show. Just know what's just as easily said at one of the many amazing Lost message boards out there.
3. I swear. We're all adults here (or at least know how to act like adults). If you are younger and your parents might get offended by the language here? Then you shouldn't be here. No one here is going to be cussing like a sailor, but it will happen. Still--I'm not trying to defy what they think is best for you, so you might want to avoid this MB. If someone swears extensively for no reason, I will bring it up to them.
4. Avas: 100x100, animated is okay. Most important rule: They Must Be Somehow Involved With Lost. This is just my personal thing. I like things to reflect the show that the Rp is about. It keeps things in the mood of the situation for me or something. Thank you.
5. Banners: Only one banner. Animated is okay. 550x125 or smaller is more then reasonable. Links in sigs are okay, fit as much text beyond the banner as you can if you really want to. Graphics Must Be Somehow Involved With Lost and/or The Island RPG
6. Five rules is more then enough! I work hard to be a hands on admin, love input and suggestions, and will do everything in my power to show that this is the best damned Lost Rp out there. Most of all guys, I want you to have fun! |
