A girl that's been addicted to RP for almost six whole years, she knew the first time she saw Kate on Lost that this was the character she had to RP. When she isn't RPing, she's hopelessly addicted to Myspace and Livejournal. Or making graphics with Photoshop, spending time smoking with her friends, or hanging out with her sisters, nieces, & nephews. Other than Lost, she loves The Office & Battlestar Galactica. _________________

Your last Kate post was greeeeeeat - it was Kate-ish, and it left a whole array of choices for me, which is also great.
You're the best Kate I've seen. By far dude _________________

I keep forgetting about this part of the board but in my head I am giving you compliments on a regular basis for your brilliant writing. What I find most amazing is that you are believable as every character you try your hands on. Of course we know you are Kate and you're amazing as your various original characters. But I remember reading fics of you writing Charlie and Sawyer and now you've been playing Sayid for a couple of posts. And it is so incredibly real, like you've been playing him for years. Now, that is talent. _________________

I'm so envious of you sometimes, E. You write so quickly - able to knock up a post in a matter of minutes - and still produce a post worthy of much praise and worship. You know the way people think so well. You get inside them and explore their psychology by the way of creative writing -- and I love every bit of it. _________________

Now, what is there to be said about E that no one else has said or that she couldn't say herself? Rofl! Joking aside, E, you're a girl who's blessed with the effortless of writing - as Lauren mentioned - and the natural feel for it all. You're a great RPer, always cooking up ideas and making me so intrigued and excited for RPing that it's like a rush. You've got a great set of characters too, the other more cooky than the next, and that just adds to your seemingly limitless creativity. In short, like Ryan, you're awesome too. |

A wise lady once told me that she loved my Sawyer.
An annoying Amy now says my Sawyer is Sawyer-like for my Kate is awesome. _________________

That last Kate post was so great -- I was totally impressed by it, particularly the phonebooth flashback. I always fail in trying to describe your writing, E, because it is just so unique. I think it's the fact that you can use words to describe an emotion or action in sometimes such an obvious way, but in a way the majority of writers wouldn't think to use.
Essentially, you portray your characters with truth and dignity and I kinda worship you for that. _________________

I too really enjoyed your latest Kate post. I especially liked in what way you featured her vision of the horse, and how you made that lead her to the camp. Good job |

Ok, I'm sitting at my dad's job reading, but I just ROFL-ed when I read that. AWESOME.
(and since I hear Tyler with a britich accent cause of JRM it just makes the whole thing all that much better xD) |

MAN I missed Tyler. He's so shifting and interesting and I just adore how lovelorn he's become; it actually adds up interestingly to his character.
I just love how you don't need all the fancy-schmancy wording to make a post stand out so much, to make it feel so alive and just emotionally emoting to a reader; you pull them in and let them feel every ounce of the character. I think you do this especially much with Tyler, maybe because you and him share a lot more characteristics than you might (want) to think. I find my mouth falling open constantly while reading, and then, myself smiling at another part. Just the way you described him noticing the curve of JJ's smile; that's such a real, human thing and it makes me jealous like hell of you for being able to use something so simple, and yet so meaningful. You just have this amazing talent of making one LIKE your character so much, some times perhaps even when one shouldn't, that it's impossible to ever find something negative about them; it's not there.
I also love your ability to just post as any one character.
But FUCK I missed Tyler. I can't believe that I forgot he was shirtless in my post. |
