These are the bios of the characters that were created by the Lost team.  All bios reflect what happened to the characters up to the point that our RP began and where they went within our RP from there.

Boone

Boone is often seen as the wannabe hero of the island. He is strongwilled , sometimes even defiant of the people, not always thinking through his actions. Before landing on the island and becoming John Locke's right hand man, he was the CEO of his mothers' wedding business. Boone also has a step-sister, Shannon, that he had more then just brotherly love towards. Since their parents married when Boone was 10 and Shannon was 8 he has been overprotective of her. The reason he came to Australia was to "rescue" Shannon from an abusive boyfriend, which he has done plenty times before. With this new found information Boone decides that it's time to stop trying to take care of Shannon and start taking care of himself.

Charlie

The former member of the hit rock band "Driveshaft", Charlie Pace is one of the most troubled people on the island. Prior to the crash, he had a serious heroin addiction to deal with. We see him go from rock god to VH1 reject in a matter of seconds, due to both his drug addiciton and troubles with his bandmember & brother, Liam. He has an upbeat attitude, and is always quick with a joke to cheer people up. He's made quick friends with Hurley, and has gone from trying to woo Shannon to having a tenative relationship with Claire. With Locke's help, he's kicked his habit since being on the island--but temptation may end up being closer then he imagined.

Claire

The sweet and very friendly Australian woman seems to be handling the situation as best as she can. Living with her boyfriend in a small apartment before the crash, Claire became unexpectantly pregnant. Her boyfriend didn't take this news as well as she would have hoped, and left her to raise her child alone. Just before getting on flight 815 Claire had considerd giving the baby up for adoption. A chance visit to a psychic who warned her that she must raise her child herself helped her to change her mind. Now, stuck on an island with constant worries about her baby's health consuming her, Charlie is quickly becoming one of her only friends.

Hurley

Hurley is a sweet and laid-back guy, always willing to help but quickly queasy at the sight of blood. Hurley is mysterious and hasn't shared much of his past to anyone on the island. Which is understandable, considering he had a past in a mental instituition. While there, he met another patient that constantly repeated six numbers. Once back in his normal life, he used the numbers to play the lottery and ended up becoming over $100 million richer in the process. Despite his good luck with money, he saw the numbers as bad because horrible things continued to happen to the people around him. Convinced he himself is now bad luck, he blames himself for the crash and anything else that goes down on the island.

Jack

The doctor quickly emerges as a leader for the castaways. He rushes to help others, even at his own expense, which shows his caring nature. He has his own problems, though. He had lost his father before the flight, with whom he had a very rocky relationship. He struggled throughout his life to impress his alcoholic father, and wrestled with his own fears about becoming a good enough Doctor in Dr. Shepard Senior's eyes. We start to learn about his marriage with a former patient of his, and see shadows of possible problems there as well. Since being on the island, he's formed close bonds with people like Kate, and has formed uneasy banter with Locke and Sawyer.

Jin

Jin is the authoritive half of the non-English speaking Korean couple on the island. On the outside he is controlling and protective of his wife, Sun, but on the inside he loves her dearly and always wanted to give her the life that she desereved. Even though he is not as wealthy or holds the status of other possible suitors Sun loves him and cherishs him. He works for Sun's father which is a dangerous and mysterious job, one that puts a clear strain on his and Sun's marriage. They were on Flight 815 to flee to America, but Jin also had the hidden job of delivering a watch to someone in the states for Sun's father. Shortly after the crash, Jin has stopped speaking to his wife after learning that she had kept the secret that she can speak English.

Locke

He's mysterious man who seems far too at ease in with the what would otherwise be the horrific event of being stranded after a plane crash. He believes he is in commune with the island itself, which has brought them all there due to fate. His faith in the island comes from the fact that before the crash, he was paralyzed and in a wheelchair, and he can now walk about as if never handicapped. He lost the use of his legs when he was trying to help save the life of a father that, before then, was no part of his life. He has many secrets on the island, including a hatch he has found and begun to unearth along with the help of Boone.

Kate

Kate is yet another survivor that's past is thick with secrets, including that she is a fugitive on the plane being transported by a US Marshal. Her crimes are numerous and unknown. One thing we do know is that she had briefly returned home to see her dying mother, and Tom--her childhood love. She was once again found by the law during this hospital visit, and tried to flee. Before she could get away, her and Tom's car crashed and a stray police officer's bullet killed her love. Fleeing once again, she is now finally outside of the law's arm but is stranded on an island. She's out to prove how strong of a woman she can be, and has made close bonds over the months with both Sawyer & Jack.

Sun

Sun was a demure woman who came from money--dirty money. Although her awareness of the fact is hard to tell. She met Jin, her husband, when he was working a party--and instantly fell in love with him. Their marriage had it's share of troubles, especially after Jin started to work for her father. She begged him to take her away from the life she led, to America where she could be free. Instead, she found herself on the island without permission from her rigid husband to interact with the other survivors. She started to form friendships by helping out, mostly with holistic healing methods she knew. Soon Kate learned her big secret, that she spoke English and kept this from her husband. He learned soon enough as well, though, and stopped speaking to her upon his embarrassment of this fact.

Sayid

A former member of the Iraqi national guard, he is clearly a man who understands duty and the value of a human life. His past is a tragiclly sad one. First he fell in love with a rebellious captive, and freed her from her fate of certain death. Then, after leaving his post, he was contacted by the CIA to set up a former friend of his, with the promise of finding out where his nlost love is now. He let his friend in on the secret of who he was working for, not wanting him to be caught--and ended up watching the man kill himself instead. On the island, Sayid is both a helpful asset in survival skills and a dangerous enforcer of right and wrong. He's been helping Shannon as much as he can through her rough time on the island, as well.

Sawyer

Sawyer is quick to make things on the island work under his terms, and slow to make friends. Bold, brash, and hot tempered, he doesn't think twice before opening his mouth or using his fists. His past plays a big part in this, from the moment as a young boy his life was shattered, and the path he takes from then on trying to destroy the man that conned his family and ruined his life--the real 'Sawyer'. We see glimpses of his soft side when he is with Kate, the person he most relates to since they both have pasts as outsiders. He has a real problem with Jack, the island's hero, which might partially be due to jealousy--which he would never admit.

Walt

He's more then just an average boy. One of the reasons his adoptive father cited for not wanting to keep him after his mother died was that he could "make things happen". His supposed special powers have shown themselves on the island, as well. He looked up to Locke as a fatherly figure until he started to get bad feelings about the hatch Locke has been digging out. Now he's finally starting to become close to his own father, who before then he regarded with skepticism. He loves his dog Vincent, his closest friend on the island, and likes being on the island in general. Which is why he burnt down the first raft his father was creating, although only Locke knows this fact.

Shannon

Spoiled brat would best sum up Shannon before she crashed on the island. Coming into a wealthy family when she was young, no amount of money was enough. She routinely conned her step-brother, Boone, who she knew had a not-so-secret love for her. Setting him up by claiming boyfriends were abusing her, and then getting the money Boone promised them to leave her alone--she lived a long time without having to work for herself. Her time in France came in handy with translating a signal, but other then that she has spent most of her time on the island feeling sorry for herself and working on her tan. Most of her attitudes probably hide a insecure girl who's just as scared as everyone else, but luckily Sayid sees this and is helping her cope.

Desmond

We first meet Desmond in Season Two, when he is busy running from the hatch – afraid the world will end, and relieved he will never have to punch in the cursed numbers into the computer ever again. But we soon learn there is more to this energetic and sharp-minded Scot, as in Season Three his story soon unfolds. Prior to being on The Island, Desmond has had a “higher calling” in which he became a monk, leaving his girlfriend of 6 years behind. After a particularly bad night of self-examination, Brother Desmond broke into the monastery’s wine cellar and stole many bottles of wine – quenching his thirst, but resulted in him being exiled from the abbey. Ironically, this is where he met Penny – his true love, who he thinks of often. We have also learned Desmond has a psychic ability, resulting in him seeing flashes of the future – which we have seen to make or break other Losties.

Ben

First introduced as the meek Henry Gale – we have always suspected Benjamin Linus of being a liar, or one to bend the truth. Little did we know that he is the assumed leader of the Others camp; and is more cool and manipulative then one could ever have imagined. Shrouded in mystery, one would think that the man who has emotionally blackmailed his people (Especially Juliet and even his daughter, Alex) could be nothing but bad news. Depending on what way you look at it, Ben has tried his best to protect his people, by initiating the Purge which killed nearly forty of the Dharma recruits – in hope that he could re-create some kind of utopia, though it seems power has corrupted him in many ways. Ben, like the characters of Locke and Desmond, has superior psychic powers also – and can apparently contact the dead, and is errand boy to the mysterious entity of Jacob, which means, until further notice, Benjamin is in charge.

Juliet

Before being recruited by Benjamin Linus and his team of Others, Juliet Burke resided in Miami trying to help her sister fall pregnant using unauthorised fertility treatment after her body was ravaged by chemotherapy. She was soon approached by Mittelos Bioscience, who offered her a job. Initially Juliet rejected the offer on the base that her ex husband whom she currently worked for in Miami Central University would never let her take the job – but after he was conveniently run down by a bus, Juliet was encouraged by her sister to accept the job offer. Little did she know she would be taken from her home and from the people she loved most - and in a few years, it would be against her will, as Juliet has been forced to remain on The Island until she can figure out a way to stop the women from dying on the Others settlement. Docile by nature, but armed with witty come backs and a smile to be wary of – one doesn’t know which team Juliet is playing for.

Deceased/"Faded" characters:

These characters have either been killed or died in the RP, or been removed for other reasons. They remain here for future reference.

Ana Lucia

Ana was a few drinks in when she stepped onto Flight 815--she's afraid to fly. But something from a brief encounter with her lets you know that there are very few things she's afraid of. She's a born leader and stepped up as much since the moment the tail section crashed into the water.  Unfortunately, it's hard for her to forget the pain of her checkered past as a cop--including losing her unborn baby and killing the man responsible for it.

Libby

Kind hearted and willing to help everyone around her, she isn't so much the leader of the group as she is the MILF mom of the group.  Adorned with gentle ways, Libby owns a past that includes spending some time in the same psychiatric ward as Hurley, the reason remaining unknown. Still tough when she needs to be, Libby will call people out when they're making a mistake.

Mr. Eko

Eko looks like the kind of guy you don't want to meet in a dark alley, but he's also the guy you need in your corner when it comes down to it.  Good to his friends, and even people he moderately knows, he will risk himself each and every time to make sure everyone around him walks away okay.  There is a strange mystical sign to the man that spent his first fourty days not speaking, a mystery only deepened by the stick he carries with him on the island.

Michael (deceased)

Michael is an engineer, which is a one of the huge benefits of his being on the island. His main concern is his son, Walt. Even though Walt really only came into his life just before the crash, when Walt's mother died and he was left to raise the boy. He's trying to bridge the gap between them, but feels helpless and unsure of how to raise a child he doesn't even know. His big task right now is building a raft, thinking this might be their only chance to get back home.
