Ditto Dan Henderson.

That knockout he delivered to Michael Bisping was awesome. And so was the next punch.

Came across some awesome pictures of fighters when they were young compared to now:

These pictures are awesome. Nice to know that Forest has always had that little smirk. And Matt Hughes nails the mullet and suspenders look.

There are more pictures on Middle Easy

That Matt Hughes pic is epic.

LOVE the one of the Diaz brothers too.

I think the picture of the Diaz brothers is my favorite.

Ken, you going to be watching UFC 104 on Saturday? It's my friends birthday on Saturday and we're having a party for him (and mixing in a Halloween party) so I'm not sure if we're going to be ordering the fights.

I think I might actually sit this one out.

I like Machida, and Velasquez/Rothwell should be interesting, but to me, the show kind of feels like it should be a Spike TV special rather than a full blown PPV. I don't think Machida's quite at that level yet where he can headline on his own, especially with such a weak opponent.

I would definitely throw in money at a party with a bunch of other people to get the show, but I don't think I'll be buying it myself or going too far out of my way to watch it at a sports bar.

I understand where you're coming from.

Especially because Machida deserves a better challenger for a title shot. The light heavy-weight division has been stacked for a long while. I know that Anderson Silva doesn't want to fight Machida and that Rampage isn't fighting anymore but they can do better than this. I'd rather see Forrest fight again than this.

AWESOME episode tonight.

Rashad is really starting to come across as the good guy, and Rampage is really starting to come off a bit of a dick.

Good fight too, even though both guys were again out of gas after two minutes Very Happy

Man, Machida got an early birthday present on Saturday night, huh?

I didn't have a chance to see the fight on Saturday but that's what it sounds like.

Good episode but I thought the fight was terrible. They were gased after about a minute and a half and doing nothing. The entire fight reminded me of the episode of The Simpsons where Homer becomes a boxer and Moe just tells him to not worry about throwing any punches and to just wait for the other guy to get tired and push him over.

Here's an interview with Forrest Griffin talking about this loss to Anderson Silva.

FUCKING FEDOR.

Does it again.

He's shown a few kinks in his armor in his last two fights, but man, nobody throws a haymaker like Fedor.

Shame he's stuck in Strikeforce because his handlers refuse to allow him to fight unless they co-promote. I don't blame UFC at all for not co-promoting Fedor's fights with M-1. Such nonsense has all but ruined boxing, and UFC is so strong on their own that they don't need to open themselves up to that route.

Just a shame we can't see Fedor in his prime against Brock.

If the fight happened today, I'd pick Fedor.

I honestly don't know who I would pick if Brock and Fedor were to fight at this very moment. I could see it going either way.

We recorded the fights Saturday night because we were playing beer pong and went to watch them this morning and the god damn recording ended during the introductions for the Fedor fight. I had to wait until yesterday morning to watch it at home.

I would pick Fedor in a heartbeat.

A year or two from now, it would definitely be a different story, but Fedor has just looked like a freakin world beater for the last few years.

A couple of pretty big news items have broken in the last day or two.

1) Brock Lesnar is in bad, BAD shape. He passed out in Canada this week. In addition to having mono, he has something else far worse that may actually prevent him from ever fighting again. He's asked UFC to keep his illness secret, but Dana White will only say that it isn't cancer or AIDS.

2) Fucking SHANE MCMAHON has left the WWE and has been in meetings at the UFC offices all week. Really crazy story.

Ken, do you have any links for either of these stories?
