OK, I think I can finally write this now. The kids and I arrived at the arena around 2pm. There weren't too many cars in the parking lot at this time but there were 2 that really stood out because they had "Richness" stuff written all over them. My kids thought that was pretty cool and found a chalk pen (left over from our vacation) and went to work on our own car. While they did that I called Meames to see where everyone was.

After talking with Meames we proceeded on our journey to find everyone. We ended up walking around the arena and ending up in the bus area. Well, there was some security guy over there who told us to turn around. Not seeing anyone else there we knew we were in the wrong place and turned around to leave, but that didn't stop Mr. Security Guy from following us out. I guess me and 3 kids looked really dangerous.

I ended up having to call Meames back and this time knew which way I had to go. We ended up going through the parking garage and made our way to where everyone else was waiting, although we were on the wrong side of the barrier. But the security guy here just moved the barricade and let us through. He was a real sweetheart of a guy. Not to mention cute.

Although I had never met any of the Richness before, it was just like we were old friends. It was kinda cool to actually be able to talk to everyone without a keyboard. Everyone was just sooooo nice and friendly. Just like on the board. I think Fedson had a little crush on Lil Meames because he was disappointed she wasn't coming to the house afterwards. (shhhhh don't tell him I told you that.)

Anyway we stood around and got aquainted for a while and soon Melinda was coming out with Kathy the securtiy guard. Kathy was really nice too. I have read a lot of reviews about her, and I have to say they are all true. Melinda was very sweet, just like on the show. And she is very pretty. She stayed and signed autographs for a while. Talked a little about what's going on with her but never gave away any details.

As Melinda and Kathy are leaving, Melinda drops her sharpie and Fedskid and my youngest start arguing over who's gonna get the pen. While they are arguing Lil Meames runs out there and gets it for Fedskid. The Security guy was cool about it so she didn't get in trouble or anything.

Then we stand and wait some more. Pretty soon we see some of the idols coming back from lunch. They can't stay to sign because they have to do press. A little later Blake and Chris Sligh come over to sign. Chris was still sick and you could tell he wasn't feeling 100% but he did stay and sign stuff. Blake signed some things too, but he was a bit rude. Kooshes was wanting to see him but he just walked away and wouldn't come back. I really felt bad for her because she let me and my kids go ahead of her. But that wasn't very nice of Blake at all.

Soon Phil came out and he stayed out for the longest time. He is sooooo sweet and really cute. I know people said stuff about his eyes during the show, but in person he has some really beautiful eyes. He signed and joked around with us. He told us about Blake's album. That Chris has written about 3 songs on it and they are thinking the first single will be one that Chris helped write. Phil said there were 17 songs in all and even though they won't all be on the cd, he has them on his mp3 player. He asked if we wanted to hear them, and then he wouldn't let us. I guess it's all top secret stuff.

We then wait some more. Soon it is getting close to 5 o'clock and still no Chris. We are all starting to think that he has spent the afternoon with his family and that he won't be coming out at all. Everyone is starting to get hungry and wanting to go get dinner before the show. Not to mention that we are standing in a shady spot and its getting a bit chilly. Fedskid asks for the keys so she can go back to the car and get a jacket. She starts on her way and then guess who should come into view. Yep, His Hotness himself. I run back and call her hoping she can hear me. It didn't take her long to return. She heard all the screams and knew it must be Chris, so she came running back.

That boy is so totally amazing. He is just so genuine. There is nothing fake about him at all. What you saw on tv is the real deal. He is so warm, open, and friendly. He would do anything anyone asked him to do. My youngest hands Chris our gift. I think he liked it:

It says: "The cops just pulled me over for carrying these guns". Kooshes took a better picture of it so maybe she will post it.

I'm kinda jealous of the way he is holding Fedskid. Haha. I didn't get a pic of him with the little one Sad

My son was the one taking the pics, but Chris gave her one of those awesome hugs. (either because she is only 9 or because she gave him the gift, I don't know).

Chris continued on, signing things and taking pics with people. He even talked to people on the phone. Fedskid called one of her bbf so she could talk to Chris. This was kinda funny, because while she had her friend on the phone Chris asks us to take a group picture

While we are all standing there posing for a pic Fedskid's friend is left hanging on the line, which is on speaker by the way, its quiet while we are all there smiling and all you here is " hello?"
And since both Chris and I had our arms around Fedskid, he hand was touching my arm the entire time. That was all I could think about....He's touching me.

Eventually, Friend got to talk to Chris. After he said hello to her all we could hear were screams. Somehow I don't think she really believed she was going to talk to him. And to top things off she was in church when this happened. I can just imagine the looks she got.

Soon, Chris had to leave and get ready for the show, but not before everyone was satisfied. He grabbed all his green gift bags, and one VS bag, hopped on his skateboard off into the sunset. And we all went to dinner and got back just in time for the show.

The show was awesome of course. No Sexy Back though. Phil was the only one that came out after the show. Then Meames, Tandt, and Kooshes followed me home.
