Ok I have more pics but i have to wait on them I will tell ya the reason is because I am doing some gifts for "some angels " that have come in to my life and I show the pics then they would see a part of their gift! the other pics I got are for things I am doing for Amanda! I will post a heads up on that prob Wed in members only and explain that more!
Ok So I get to CT and let me tell you talk about feeling like a blind person who's sight has just been restored! The green,the trees first pic i took on my cell was of a tree! I miss that so much! Seeing my aunt an amazin woman was like nothing else and her home near the water has always been my favorite! I get a call from Kriz when she is at the Baltimore Concert she let me know she reminded Chris I would be at the next show in Bridgeport and he (according to Kriz) was happy and remembered and said we are gonna talk! had asked him for After pass for me which he said "Got it ! Done no prob" ! When she told me that well words can't describe how I felt!
Ok day of I decide to book a hotel near the arena because I knew I would get out late and the arena is not in the best of areas! So i booked the Holiday Inn right down the street! (coincidentaly the same hotel the idols were at)! Fun to see blake strolling through the lobby with his mp3 on ! I was on phone with Amanda at the time! wish I knew what floor he came down from I didn't think fast enough Oh well!!
When I first got to concert the gate was open and I walked around back got met by security of course and I said I was looking for team shop! So he took me there I ended up buying something for my older son from their hockey team to make it look good! Security and I do not mix! Then I was helping this delivery guy that was delivering boxes and boxes of powerbars so I got back there again but from the other direction! Its funny now but security was not amused (though the delivery guy gave me some powerbars and a big thankyou hug! Ok at this time I am on the roof top of the parking garage and I was trying to figure out what next! I saw some people gathering and decided to go down and sit near them!
Of course now the gate is closed and let me tell you it was a thick black metal gate with spikey posts on top and they put a chain around it! We waited and they kept saying buses are not coming here well BS to anything they say! Finally clap

the buses get there! I want to say I was at the very end of the fence standing in a dirtpile with some green brush which i was hoping was not poison ivy! First off was Phil and Sligh and they went to the right side of the gate the complete opposite end where I was so this guy (really nice) that was next to me struck up a conversation! I of course noticed him and I had a common bond Chris Rich (we both had our rubberbands on)! He had a beautiful pic he took of jordin in Mass and wanted her to sign it! It was magazine worthy i couldn't get over it! I talked with him about AZ he was very nice,of course we chatted up Chris! Well i decided to try to get Amanda on the phone to talk to Sligh! She kept breaking up which was frustrating but then to reasons I now know but didn't then Sligh got half way down and left with Phil! I was so mad the guy next to me said I will tell your friend you tried! Oh brother!! Then comes Jordin again down the right side I said oh patience better pay off! Well jordin did finally get to us and I gave her a thankyou musical card and phoenix luggage tag we talked (i have seen Jordin perform prior to idol and also she used to cashier at a store I go to) she was impressed! I asked her if she could get Chris I talked with her re! Amanda and she was sweet! Then Cathy the security guard came out and over to where we were I gave her a big shout and thru the gate handshake and also gave her a "Thankyou " musical card! I made the card out from the Richness and thanked her for all her help in allowing us to get time with Chris ! She was so happy I wish I snapped a pic at that point! She deserved that I am glad I had done that for us! I think the song was About being our hero! Anyway talked with her re: Amanda and she was going to get CHris she also took my name for back passes! Not 2 minutes later and there comes Cathy and Chris right over to me! I was so used to waiting cause everyone started at the other end this made me so glad! Chris was like AMAZIN His first words to me where "Jan,I Finally get to meet Yankeejan" I said After all and everything I get to finally meet you too and theres this big black prison fence keeping me from getting a much needed Chris Rich Hug! He smiled then the guy next to me took the pointed post off the fence and said "I am trying to help her she is a sweetie" So Chris Climbed up the fence and hung over to give me a hug! I thought that was sweet! He then said you and I have lots to talk about ! I said I know and I need ya to sign some things too ! He said well i got ya the passes and whatever you need count on me! I was so happy at that time of course people were wanting him to sign so he started with the guy next to me! Oh he smiled back and I said Chris I have to tell you Hi from your "St Louis Twin" he said You mean Brian and I said Yes he is like my best Richness friend That I told Gayle she has to share him with me! he laughed and said "he is a good man Jan" I said I know anyone that reads my novels everyday and doesn't complain is # 1 in my book! He said Jan stay there I need to sign then I will be back!
