MWOL Meames and GBCHES got to the store around 1:30pm. (It was raining/misting guh!) Anyway, we get inside the store to see the Edy's peeps setting up at the front of the store and so we proceeded to stake out our place. There was no-one else in line. A lady showed up with two children about 30 minutes later and so we chatted with her and then slowly the line started to form out of the store and out onto the sidewalk.
Like steff said he walked in and took his place and the air was electric, everyone was soooo excited. He seems to bring an aura with him wherever he goes. He took his seat:

The peeps we had let go ahead of us did their thing then it was our turn, we were fussing over who should go first, MWOL took the plunge and I videoed her encounter, then she taped mine. I was there forever, it seemed, but I had sooo much for him to sign and so much to tell him and give him – it was all kinda hectic and you can see the dork in me keep looking at my list so I don’t forget what to say Ugh!

While he was signing calendars I gave him his gift bag that had a calendar for HIM in which he says he’s always been wanting to get one of those and I told him that there was more hot fudge in there, did he like the last batch I sent him and that’s when he told me I have some “killer cooking skills, I’m telling ya!!” Oops

There I am flustering over the daggone calendars!! Ugh!

Then I give him the ALL ALONE bracelet from Jan, and Amanda’s green bracelet that has her name on and the HOPE+BELIEVE=ACHIEVE. He IMEDIATELY put that one on, he set the ALL ALONE one to one side, he said he wants some of those for Blue too, I told him I would definitely get some to Blue! Then as I’m about to move onto the pics I needed to get signed for RICHNESS prizes, the CHESAPEAKE POLICE OFFICER comes and tells me to “move along ma’m” police

OH MY GOODNESS, I was sooooo embarrassed Oops

I just KNEW that was going to happen. But Chris, being Chris and so very gracious told me to leave them with him and he would sign them and get them back to me later (which instantly told me we were going to have another encounter Bounce

) Anyway as I’m walking away I asked him if it was ok that we had used the pictures that Michelle had taken of him and that was on his myspace and he said “Oh sure, no problem!” I said that’s good cuz I had to sign my life away at Walgreens in order to get them, and he could actually sue me or words to that effect and he laughed and said it was nooooo problem. Bless him!!

Then MWOL took my picture (twice thanks Michele Wink

). They turned out kinda blurry, but that’s ok.

Firstmate then had her FIRST meeting with him and got her shirt signed and pic taken 

Then GBCHES had her time with him. She gave him Kyro’s poem and explained all about that – Chris was VERY interested and touched it seemed.

We kind of stood off to the side and visited with each other. I did chat a little with Jamie. She recognized me from MySpace Smile

We then moved around to the other side of the set up and was able to take some cute pictures and just get to watch Chris visiting with his fans – he was adorable! We were talking to Jamie about Amanda and her new laptop, she told me to tell her to get ichat so Chris would chat with her – how sweet! Smile

Remember my little neighbor Megan who stood with me week in and week out on the street corner with posters yelling “VOTE FOR CHRIS!” Well she made it there in time to meet him – her FIRST time! She stood with me inside the store just watching him while her momma stood in the line outside and then when her momma got to the front she joined him. When I told Chris who she was, he gave her a high five and told her thank you! She was THRILLED! I took these pics and her momma got more. Megan was so cute, she kept saying “He’s sooooo cute!” 

I took some pictures of fans with Chris that did not have a camera, gave them a RICHNESS card with my email addy on the back and told them to email me and I’d give them the pictures. They were very grateful. One was a young boy with his mother Sad

We had great conversations with Craig Kimberley and Patrick Buchanan – Craig knows THE RICHNESS from way back when we started on idol and he came to my home and filmed our Idol results viewing party and our street rallies. He asked how our site was doing. He’s such a sweetheart.

When it was all over and Chris was getting ready to leave he signed the pictures I had left with him and handed them to me:
