This is me and HHC... it's kinda dark.
this is me, HHC and my friend Robin
Okay, we get there and there are already people in line, some sitting on the floor, waiting. We were so pumped. I passed out all The Richness flyers to others (girls and guys) standing in line and told them to come and join us. I had my calendar with me for him to sign and I wish I would have had more because I could have sold them with no problem. People were asking me if I had more. Finally some folks started walking in behind the screen they have up and sure enough pretty soon here comes Chris peeking around the corner as if to see if anyone is out there to see him. The place went nuts. He is adorable. My friend and I looked at him and then at each other and said "why is he wearing a winter hat"... it was in the 70's here. Not his best hat choice but who cares  So he sits down and starts talking to everyone. He is so great with little kids, I think he actually enjoys them more than the adults. Anyway we finally get up there and we introduce ourselves, I tell him I'm Reel Lady from The Richness, I said you may remember seeing my name on a few things around your birthday, he smiles and says yeah, I know you (my heart when kaboom , then I hand him my calendar and he goes "aah another calendar" you can tell he gets a kick out of seeing us with them. So I hand it to him with July open (my b-day month) and he is looking at himself and says "man I was having a bad hair day" then he says "who took this one" and then sees that it was MWOL. He says "oh Michele with one L took this one". I told him I have a son named Shawn who looks just like him and that is how I got hooked on him in the first place, he really listens to what you tell him too. I had one more flyer with me and he took that too, said he has a couple already but he wanted another one. Needless to say I gave it up. He told us he would be in the studio all next month working on his album. I asked him if he was tired of grocery stores and old woman like us hanging around the produce section and he chuckled and of course said no, he has loved doing this tour and meeting so many of his fans. I dropped so many of your names and told him you all send your love. We talked about Amanda and I thanked him for all he has done for her and he acknowledged that we got her the laptop and thought that was really cool. We asked how long he would be in town, he said he had to go to the ice cream party and then he was heading out. We talked about Jamie and her daughter and then we were getting the eye from the Security Guard so we had to scoot, but before we walked away he puts his arm around my shoulder and says "thanks Linda" and smiled. I will never be the same. He is the nicest most down to earth person I have ever met, he is so easy to talk to and seemed to really appreciate it when I told him Jamie was beautiful and that I voted for her. He started telling me about her little girl and how long she has been modeling. This may sound weird to some of you but I felt really empty when we left, just like I did when Chris was voted off Idol, he definitely finds a place in your heart quickly and I was sad to leave. I have more pics but my computer is really slow here at work today so I will post more tomorrow, wanted to get this posted.

aww I'm so glad you had a great time =] you're right he does steal a piece of your heart. & it's ok when I met him I was sad to leave too, I didn't wanna go =]

YES he definitely has stolen our hearts. He is so genuine. How long did he say Jamie had been modeling? She is a sweetheart, and her little girl is adorable. I'm so excited that I am going to get to see him perform(finally) with Josh Hoge.

Thanks Meames, it was so cool. I have more pics to post hopefully tomorrow. I can't believe how comfortable he makes you feel. He is a sweetheart. I will try and see him every opportunity I get, wish I lived closer to VA I would be there in a heartbeat.

Aahh Storie, it was awesome, I have the Edy's promo picture he signed hanging up at my desk and I'm still on "Cloud Nine"... I can't stop looking at it. That boy has got to get an album out and go on tour again so we can all see him again.

Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you guys, we got talking about pictures of him and I told him I had the pic his sister took of him that is on his myspace page as my wallpaper, then I asked him about the other pic where he is leaning on something with his aviator sunglasses on with the tree in the background... I said okay we are all trying to figure out what you are leaning against and he smiles and says "I was leaning against my truck" and his sister shot the pic. So mystery solved
Also, he was showing a little boy that was ahead of us his tatoos, he has one on his right arm that looks like Army stripes and then he showed him the one that is on his left arm, not sure what that was but it was hot, oh I'm sorry I forgot I was talking about the tat and not his bicep...

Great review RL!!! So glad you had such a good experience (but how could you not with Chris!). He is just so amazing, I love hearing about how everyone's time with him has gone. What ever will we do once the Edys tour ends????

Aw! I am thirlled you had such a great time with him RL, I knew you would! Great job representing The Richness too!
I just about fell off my chair with the part about the picture in the calendar too. Michele with one L.  He melts me with that.
And he is crazy to say he was having a bad hair day!!! That was in Atlantic City and all the pictures of him from that day are my absolute faves of him. That hair looked AMAZING.
