It's your friendly neighborhood admin here. I wanted to start this new set of rules for the shoutbox in order to make our home here more orderly. We do have high hopes to grow even more than we are today. We are in Chris' top eight for goodness sake, so you better believe that people will come here wanting to know who we are and what we are all about. Therefore, we must stay orderly and organized and be a tight family at the same time. Here's how you can help accomplish this goal in The Shoutbox.
1. The shoutbox is for direct Richness business. Daily greetings to The Richness family is totally permitted. Also, if you would like to call attention to an important or special thread, you are allowed to do so there. In addition, if there is urgent, time sensitive news that you need to call attention to that is not Chris related, you are allowed to do so. However, please try and do so in one post...the shoutbox should not be used for long threads of conversation. If you think that's where things are headed, please start a thread in "Anything Goes" and direct the conversation there. This keeps everything orderly and preserves our limited visible shoutbox space for other shouts.
You got good news? We'd love to hear it! The Shoutbox is a great place to let everyone know what's good in your life in a quick note. However, congratulations should be directed in the appropriate Richness gathering place on our message board.
Also, keep disagreements out of the shoutbox. Please PM an admin if you have any problems with the board. We do not want newcomers to see a division amongst us. Let's show everyone our unity as we always have.
If you want people to know that you are in chat, the shoutbox is an excellent outlet for letting people know where everyone else is hanging out.
2. The shoutbox is also (and more importantly) for Chris news. If you need to direct The Richness to an area of our messageboard, drop a shout! This can help someone logging on for the first time today to see the hot happenings with our boy Chris.
All in all, if you see a 'shout' potentially taking more than two posts, please move it to the appropriate forum and direct others there using the shoutbox. Remember, when Chris and/or his family and friends log on to our messageboard, 'The Shoutbox' is the first thing that they see. So keep that in mind when you post a shout. We want everyone to know who we are and why we came together. We are here to support Chris Richardson throughout his exciting musical journey. And as a family, we are going to have other interests and we will want to share them with everyone else. That is why we have our Off Topic forum. We want to continue to share, but we want to do it in an orderly fashion. Keep in mind, any posts in Shoutbox that are not following the above rules will be removed. Please, don't be upset if this happens. We have to do our jobs in order to even out the playing field for everyone here.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding these new set of rules, please drop Storie or Pinkislove00 a note via PM. Again, we want everyone's experience here with The Richness to remain memorable and we want you to continue logging on and checking back with us daily.

 Well said - along with others on here, I must admit I have been guilty of using it for chat - thank you for reminding us to keep in under control. Thanks for being great admins and keeping things in order - I appreciate everything you guys do
