This was on American Idols website so I thought I would post it for yall!
Elliott Yamin’s story continues to grow just four months after the release of his self-titled debut CD. “Wait For You,” the first single from the album, moved up into the Top 5 this week and has also attained gold status. Elliott’s CD is currently the #43 best selling album of all album released in 2007, a huge accomplishment considering the CD was only released in late March.
Elliott also entered the Billboard charts at #3, making him the highest new artist debut on an independent label in soundscan history. The CD also debuted at #1 on the Billboard Independent charts and #2 on the Billboard R&B charts. With upcoming appearances on The Bold And Beautiful, Lincoln Heights and a fall tour plan, Elliott has won over a new set of fans since his American Idol days.
Elliott was recently named National Spokesperson for the American Diabetes Association and has also become a Celebrity Advocate for the Juvenile Diabetes Association, where he will help create diabetes awareness and support the organization’s mission to move Diabetes research towards a cure.

omg i absolutely love ELLIOTT...i loved him last year when everyone was like "ehh he's not that good" im so glad that his career is sky rocketing. i hope his fall tour comes to my state so i can see him in concert cuz i know he will be amazing!

he truly is...i love his song "wait for you" its my ringtone on my phone. i never pick up my phone because i just want to keep listening to the song...

i like Elliot to E i felt he had to work harder to prove he belonged there when in actuality he had one of the best voices! A vocal masterclass as Simon would say! So glad good things are happening for him!

he really did have to work harder. partially cuz of his appearance. but he looks so good now...he's gonna be HUGE.
i love his new song "one word". i can' stop listening to it!

Yea its a shame people didnt see he was one of the best last year..because if you listen to Taylors album and then Elliotts album and could just buy one I can guarantee most people would pick E's because Elliott sings from the heart its so obvious!

i HATED taylor last year. i was so mad that he won...
i would pick Elliott's cd ANYDAY over Taylors

DAUGHTRY IS INCREDIBLE. he was great on the show and i love his cd now. if i could have picked the top two last year it would have been daughtry and elliott without a doubt

i know...even if they did vote those two as the top two...Katharine should have won over Taylor...last season was dissapointing
