Oh my gosh, I've been over on the Idol boards a lot lately and the snippet of posts someone posted on here is really just a snippet. The DC board has been full of lots of other posts about this. It's to the point now where there's some people who are bashing anyone who even brings the topic up. Very touchy issue over there. I've grown a new appreciation for the Richness especially since we can all disagree over here and still be respectful towards each other. 
Though in defense of the people that are freaking out, a lot of them just don't like her. It's not that they sincerely believed he was ever going to ask any of them out - people just don't care for her. I'm definitely among those people. She seems really trashy to me and gets on my last nerve, always has. But you know, whatever. If he likes her, cool. I've come to really like DC so I hope that things go the way he wants them to.

Ok I thought it was really sweet, and kinda romantic how he asked her out! <3 I know she's a little... questionable... but whatever if he's happy. LOL wasn't she rumored to have hooked up with Richie at some point last year?

He's obviously very smitten. I just hope she is in this for the right reasons and not trying to cash in on his fame. I really don't care for her, however this is his personal ife. If she makes him happy, and it is real I say go for it.

Aww  I  them together! Kim is like my soul sista. She loves Big Brother, she loves Chris Rich...she just has awesome taste. She's my favorite host on TV Guide.
I remember that I didn't like her in the beginning of Season #2 of AI though cuz she got into a fight with another contestant. But I really grew to love her a performer and as a personality. She is VERY intelligent and she is just full of life. David is the lucky one, IMO.
BTW, she makes her own money. She hosts three shows. She's doing her thang. She doesn't need David for money or for fame.

But going out with American Idol’s winner is not something that can be kept a secret for long.
“They were mobbed when they left,” a source close to Caldwell tells us.
Caldwell, who met Cook while she was covering the reality show for TV Guide, is just getting to know him better outside of the show, a source close to Caldwell revealed.
“They have been out a few times,” says the source. “Kimberly thinks he’s a great guy and a great talent.“ |

Kimberly/Cook's still going strong. I saw them together on TMZ...she was looking great. Yahoo also has an article on them today.

I don't really care for Kim. But if David and Kim are happy together then good for them He seems very smitten with her. I hope this works out for them.
