Hey guys!
I don't mean to be MIA but I just need some time. First off I want you to know I am in daily contact with Tammy because I am and will always worry about her. She is going to attend the Fro Patro Picnic this week and represent Amanda ! Amanda had wanted to attend so much so I know this will be a good thing and she can meet Chris Sligh who had a special relationship with Amanda! I hope meet Sligh in a few weeks myself and have been in touch with him throughout the past year! I am so glad she decided to go to this. Days are very hard for her and even though she is trying to do things to keep busy its just working thru the emptiness and the hurt I know our scrapbook will be a source of comfort! NH girls I know mine is alot of pages but I think reading amandas words and the kind and sometimes funny words of others will be a comfort to her!
Tammy is also going to try for Amanda to conquer some fears she has had during this next year " flying and water" so I am so proud of her for that!
I will be meeting up with her for the walk in December ,I just wish I lived closer but I know thats never going to happen I am destined to be a "desert dweller"!
I will restart Yack next week and I will get thru this with the help of my Richbros and RIchsistas . Last week I mentioned Amanda to the other jurors at lunch because one juror was complaining about her 20yr old daughter being so "me me me" so I shared the story and her funeral card and they all were in tears. We walked back into the courtroom with our kleenex and the judge looked at us and said "whats wrong" and one of the jurors told them I was just sharing a sad story and he wanted to know well by the end of what I said the prosecutor ,defendent,judge and court reporter where all in tears and the bailiff had to go for more kleenex! I know Amanda was probably chuckling up in heaven but she just touches people! I know me being selected was her doing because I hate that stuff and she was always pushing me to "open and expand jan"! This past Monday I had to let Brian from UPS know as it was the earliest I could get in! It was a very hard day he has helped me from the beginning with amanda always paying himself for all I sent and he has spoken to her on the phone! He said " I love her jan and I miss her voice and her humor" "how can you miss someone you never met" well I told him its easy because "Love comes from the heart so you don't need to see someone to miss them you feel it" ! That day brought the tears back until that night when I went to play my music and I had on Nickelback and it shorted and skipped off to the next song which was David Archulettas "I'm loving Angels instead" sorry guys believe what you want but that was amanda intervention!
Ok I'm done rambling but know that I love you guys I am just working thru this and will update on Tammy now and again because I know she is important to us all as well!

yankee Jan,
Thanks for sharing this. I never met Amanda but I had read about her on the E-train and now here so thanks for sharing all of your happy memories of her. I feel like I knew her although I never met her. Talking about her helps to never forget her. Keep that in mind

Jan...i feel weird saying that...hmm should i say mrs. Jan? :-S ok anyways that was great thnx for sharing i wish i was there to see the whole thing in the court...but yea anyways that's amazing.

Jan,
Thank you for sharing that, and don't worry about how many pages your sending we'll be able to fit all of it in there lol. It truly is amazing that Amanda can touch so many peoples lives that have never even met her, like you said with the jurors and everybody in the courtroom crying, you know she was a and still is a special girl when something like that happens.

aww Jan! Thank you so much for sharing. it is clear that amanda has touched so many lives and continues to do so. she is an amazing girl and i will never ever forget her... and she will always be in my heart.
i am glad you got to share her story with that woman who complained about her daughter. it seems we all take things for granted, and complain when really our situations are not even close to what they could be, you know?
and i love how amanda skipped over your "butt rock" and put Archie on instead... and how convinient (sp??) it was a song with the word "angels" in it.
She is truly an angel now, heck she was one down here.
May she be resting peacefully, and you know what its been raining an awful lot around here, looks like shes helping god pour out the rain =]

Jan! Thanks a bunch for sharing this with all of us.
We love to hear stories about Amanda. The radio was definately her doing, there is no doubt in my mind about that.
It's so amazing to see the lives Amanda's life has affected & still is affecting.
She will forever remain a part of my life & she will forever be in my heart. I will carry HOPE+BELIEVE=ACHIEVE with me forever.
