The rain is falling down
And there’s a puddle at my feet
Drowning in the misery
My heart has lost its beat
Lifeless, empty, and shallow
You left me an invisible shadow.
Why’d you have to go
You took off and stole
My life.
Why’d you leave me here
Alone Is my only fear,
Was gonna make you my wife.
But you said u had to go
It wasn’t me it was you
Is that the best you could say
Throw away
what we had
Turns out your like the wind - blow.
The rain is falling down
And there’s a puddle at my feet
Drowning in the misery
My heart has lost its beat
I hope you well
But it wont be as good without me.
Looks like all I did was set you free
You flew away and I took a hit.
My white flag is lit.
And its burning away.
From the flames I resurrect
Because I cant let you keep me drowned
You have gone and lost all respect
Our hearts separated, no longer bound
I’m free to walk a man
On my own two feet I can stand.
But.
The rain is falling down
And there’s a puddle at my feet
Drowning in the misery
My heart has lost its beat
But now the sun shows
And my eyes open
The rivers stop their flows
And I realize
You win or lose, there are no ties.
