A little back ground... I started college in 2004 at Daniel Webster... I brought some of the best times of my life... However, it also brought on some of the worst... By the end of Sophmore year I was so miserable there I just wanted to LEAVE and never look back.. I started flunking out, and seriously was begining to think college is not for me.... But then I transfered to SNHU (Southern New Hampshire University) and it was like a revelation for me... So much has changed... and On came this poem... I hope you like!
I feel like i finally got it right,
Slowly the peices are falling into place tonight,
I no longer question who I am,
Or what I am doing or if I can,
I know I can make it through any storm,
And I slowly transform,
Into who I want to be,
It is like I have set my soul free,
I can't believe my puzzle is finally whole,
I am no longer playing a role,
I have set my goals and I will achive,
Everything I set my mind to- I believe,
and when the day is done i finally can see,
Everything you are is what I hope to be,
So I forget the past and look forward to what my future holds,
Of living my dreams fearless and bold.
