I think we all came to know Blake one way and that song just did not fit for him! I wish they had 2 songs like they did season 5. I think the writers/show should allow them to present it in their own interpretation allowing creativity as that is what their albums are supposed to be about anyway!
Not to offend anyone either but IMO (don't anyone jump on me) I observed Blake on several occasions being a pompous  and I truely believe if you show your fans "genuine sincerity" the way I have seen Chris ,Phil,Melinda ,Elliot,Sligh demonstrate, You will go alot farther in that business!!

I agree with you 100% on that Jan. I too witnessed Blake being rude and sarcastic to some fans last year on tour. I often thought he needed to be more like his best friend.

Even though you guys saw Blake being "rude" and "sarcastic" you should realize that some people here don't judge him by the one experience and see the sweetheart in him too and that he is a GOOD PERSON. The Blake experiences I've read about from different people the good ones definitely out weight the bad. And you shouldn't just judge him because he may have been having a bad day or something like that.
One video that I saw of him being, well I wouldn't call it rude but i guess you guys would, the girl deserved it. She was up in his face with a camera for like 20 minutes and following him around. If people do things like that I don't blame him for being rude to them. I would be too.
Blake's a moody person, you can tell that, but if you catch him at a bad time, he's not gonna pretend that he's all happy and absolutly nothing is wrong and everything is perfect, he's going to be how he feels at the time.
I resepct that you have your opinion of him but people should remember that there are Blake fans here too and resepct that because there's is really a surprising amount of Blake hate on here. I thought there would be more respect for him on here since h's one of Chris' best friends.

I said in my reply "don't jump on me" ! I also said its my oppinion and I know for a fact that Chris RIch appreciates honesty and thats how I roll! Again its my oppinion. As far as the times I observed Blake there were no "crazy fans" bothering him. I am just saying that "you catch more flies with honey".

When it comes to rabid fans and teenage girls I'm sure it can get on your last nerve, but the thing that upset me the most was when I was in Greensboro( I saw the show 3 times) There was a little boy about 7 from Greenville, N.C. That is a good ways from Greensboro. His Mom took him out of school that day so he could go meet Blake. He had been standing there for hours with a picture to get an autograph. Blake finally did come out, opened the gate, and let his friends in. The little boy was standing there looking at him with the pic, wanting an autograph so bad. Blake looked at him , didn't say Hi, and walked away. It brokme the little boys heart, and he started to cry. I didn't care about the other peeps that were there, but be could have at least been nice to a child. Yes he was very nice in Hampton but you need to be nice to the little ones all of the time. We all have bad days.

Yeah, Pink told me about that little boy, Steph. And I didn't think he was extra nice in Hampton...just 'okay'.
I think he will learn and grow. If you aren't a people person, then the entertainment business is not for you. I wish Blake all of the best because he is very talented. He was my favorite before the top 24 began.

Ohyeah Steph... that little boy was pitiful and his poor mom was soo sick. She looked terrible from the heat and I think she had a migrane and she stayed out there ALL DANG DAY for her son to meet Blake. LUCKILY... after the concert, a security guard and I think Gina convienced Blake to say Hey to the little boy and take pics. But it's sad he had to be "convienced" to meet a child.

I am sorry that is rediculous. Do you think for one second everytime we all meet chris rich is day is just going wonderful and its the happiest day of his life. Probably not, because things happen, However he knows how to seperate life with bussiness.
I dont hate blake, but imo , maybe if he was good to his fans during idol tour, his CD would have done better. Sligh's CD is doing awesome and he didnt even have the publicity blake had.

I don't even know why I even bother to try and defend Blake on this board cause everyone hates him.
People shouldn't expect people to do everything and anything they want and everything perfectly everytime just cause they are fans. It doens't happen.
Anyway go on with the Blake hate cause that's just what happens everytime there's a post about him here anyway. It always turns into a bash Blake post for no good reason.
I Give Up. The Blake haters win. I guess I should have learned my lesson about defending Blake in the Cake forum cause it's a hopeless task here.

This is probably an old topic but I haven't been on here in awhile so you know.Blake is a dumbass.Never have been a fan of him never will be.Well I tried to support him when Chris left but that quickly went sour with the beatboxin  .I'm not a fan of that either.I was gonna buy his album till I heard his first single and I thought nope don't think so.If I could turn back time to the night Chris got kicked off I would've voted my off even more than I did to just so Blake could go home.I'll never forget that night as long as I live I still get sick to my stomach watchin it on youtube.I can still see myself sitting in my livingroom talkin to my stepmom's cousin on the phone and I remember cryin when they said Chris's name boy was I pissed like many of us were I'm sure.I don't mean any disrespect to Blake fans but that's my opinion on it
