Another idea for the cruise would be to have a fundraiser for additional funds for the cruise. We'd have over a year to raise the money. The money could go to cover Chris and a family member or friend, or we can use the money to help fund someone else's trip.

Another thing we can do is talk to the cruiseline and somehow tell them that Chris Richardson is coming and they can maybe set him up as a performing special guest.

Just some ideas I'm throwing out there.

I would absolutely love to do this. Minus being on a huge ship in the middle of the ocean and not being able to even see land Shocked But this isn't realistically possible for me to go... weather I start saving money now or not. But if yall make it happen, I'd defs be there in spirit and someone better have a cell phone with good service haha.

I was thinking that since we want to try to get as many as possible to go, including HHC, perhaps it should be a 3 day cruise. After 3 days, company becomes a pest anyway. It would also keep the cost down, not to mention the fact that many can't take off that much time.

just a thought

I think you have to have like 36 people to qualify as a group and get any kind of break.

Thanks Ven for that information. I was aiming for 20, but if we can get 36-40, that would rock so hard.

Steff also mentioned it it would be a waste of airfare if the cruise is only for 3 days.

20 cabins makes a group. 3 day cruises are hard to find and only go to one port. I just can't justify spending alot of money on airfare for a 3 day cruise.

Unless we make it a three day cruise and then spend several days "chillin RICHNESS style" - would involve hotel costs, but it's a thought shrug

Is there anything cheap out there today? I was up most of the night worrying about how I'm going to make it with no job.

As much as I am a hardcore fan of cruises, I know a trip to Cancun for a week can be done really cheap. Same goes for Bahamas or Key West. There are a lot of places that are all inclusive also, air fare too, that you can get for under a thousand bucks for a week. Maybe we should look into some of those places?
