Hey everyone. First of all, notice the name change of this sub-forum. This is the place for ideas on how to increase membership, ideas and suggestions for everything from our website to our MySpace and message board, as well as Fan Club get-togethers. Keep in mind, this is the area that the general public (non-members) will see, so beware prior to posting your suggestions.
Now, the fun news:
Stephanie (GBCHES) and I came up with an idea of having a Richness cruise. We have many resources at our disposal to plan this. Steff herself has been on 10 cruises. My boss is also a former travel agent and she goes on these things about twice a year.
Of course, we would have at least one year to save up. We also plan on extending the invitation to the Richardson family and friends. So would you be interested in going on a cruise? The response will determine whether or not we should more forward with this idea. Thanks!

I'd have the same "issue" Tandt!! I'd love to go and even mentioned it to lil'meames and it would be after she graduates, so we could legitimize it by saying grad gift?  It sure would be FUN!

Sounds like a fun thing to do, but I have enough trouble saving up money to travel & see my boys. Don't think it's very realistic to think I could also afford a cruise. If I can get to VA this summer/fall and also manage to get to Cali, it'll be quite an accomplishment - thanks to mucho OT.

I think this would be a lot of fun if I manage to have the money for it! I hear some cruises can be pretty affordable tho? I've never been on one and have always wanted to go.

Did you vote Nurse? Cruises are a blast and really pretty affordable. You get alot for your money, and if you book way in advance you can pay so much a month. I have been on 10 cruises and I love them. It's the only way to go for me. Hope we get enough interest to look in to it. I have to save too. I don't have a job.

Yea, I was actually the second person who voted (yes) when it first came on the board. I just hadn't written a comment before. 
Thanks for the info. about paying per month, I didn't know you could do that with cruises! That definitely helps out!

I've been on a few cruises and it is the best way to vacation. You get to go to a lot of places instead of being stuck at one the whole time. The ships are so fun too! SOOO much to do all day and night.
Nursey, start saving now cuz it's gonna be me+you+tequila shots+the beautiful Carribean!!!

Gah. I tried to talk to Mr. Becks about this today and he wasn't too keen on the idea.  He wants our first cruise to be together. I guess I've got a longgggggg journey of convincing ahead of me. I would hate to have to be the one that misses out on all the fun.
