Hey guys, I finally placed an order for 20 bracelets today. I know, it's about time!  
What we want to do is offer a portion of proceeds to St. Jude (it's St. Jude, not St. Judes...I got in trouble by my former employer for calling it that. )
Here's the deal. The Richness has paid $1.85 per bracelet, which equates to $37. We also covered $8.50 for S&H and taxes. We want to make these bracelets affordable, while recouping The Richness's costs and giving significantly to charity. We also wanted to make a little extra for our Richness account (not required, but ideal).
So including shipping, how much do you think we should offer the bracelets for to the general public? I thought $10, with a strong emphasis on charity (you are really giving to charity, the bracelet is just a bonus). Someone in chat suggested $8. What do you think?
If we can decide on a price today based on your feedback, we can open up the doors for orders to be placed. I should be getting the bracelets within 7-10 days and I will be shipping them out to those who order them within 24 hours of ordering.

To recoup postage and taxes and $5 per bracelet to St. Jude, the cost would be $7.28. I think $8.50 is a fair price and that gives THE RICHNESS $1.22 per bracelet. I recall paying $9 each for CCFA bracelets a couple of years ago.

Meames! Great idea. I think that's defs a fair price and The Richness making a little money to recoup costs is a great bonus. I think these will sell even with that price because it is for a really great cause!

$8.50 sounds great! Anyone else agree? Also, I think it'll cost about .34-.50 cents to ship each bracelet...right? I know the post office gets funny if the envelope puffs out...even though it weights the same as standard mail.

Guys, the first 20 bracelets just arrived at my house today and they look great. I'm giving everyone here on the boards a chance to get their bracelets first.
The plan is to donate $5 of proceeds to St. Jude in Amanda's name. We will continue to fight with and for Amanda to help fund a cure for this devastating disease.
If you want your bracelet, please send $8.50 to finance@therichness.net. I can ship them as early as tomorrow (my PO Box is at a 24 hour post office, and I have to go up there and make my bi-yearly payment anyway).
Make sure you send your payment with the description "Amanda Bracelet" so I know what it is for. Thanks everyone!

Oh, we have PayPal fees to think about. So even after recouping almost $2 for the cost to make them and to ship them, the PayPal fee will effect the $1.22. So even if we got 90 cents per bracelet, that should still work out.

You know I wear that bracelet with such pride because when amanda saw it she loved it and she loved "green" because she associated that color with RIchness! She wanted to get her message across and now I look at the bracelet as a way of not only always remembering her but also as a way of helping to spread her message ! She fought for so many that passed on before her I am proud to raise awareness for her and her warriors!
