Ok RIchness I just got back from an amazingly chillaxin time in Margaritaville and I avoided a sunburn and conqured over 55 different margaritas (shot glass size samplers) Ok let me put up a yack!!
Remember those ....
Share with us the best part of your summer so far ....?
Ok mine is a mix which I am sure will be a novel (imagine that )
Ok first off I truely am happy I got to meet Meames I do wish it was under different circumstances but I am still glad we met and you were the greatest source of comfort for me during whats still an extremely painful time , second my NH gals who (saved my life) and allowed me fufill a promise that i had made to Amanda . I will never ever forget that! My BRF Brian has really helped me thru so much of this craziness that has been my life ! I am still struggling with some family issues and my dad as well and Brian just makes sure that i smile each day he won't let me give up on me!! Lastly this past weekend which Friday just minutes before we were heading out the door on our way to "Margaritaville" which is a place only an hour away that has a lazy river and lake and they offer different themes each week (this weekend was a 100 ways to have a margarita) and that was Fri /Sat and Sun was "Name that Beer" it was also Christmas in July so they made snow and we all had snowball fights and had tubes and just floated to each station on the river . You can get off and sample (shot glass size samples) and they punch your card or you can just order whatever you want to drink anyhow it was so much fun and theres no driving cause you stay in a room right there its all tropical like ! Well it was amazing but back to Friday my son just got back from seattle after midnight fri am and he pulled up not in his car oh heres the bad luck that always follows me like cow dunk stuck to your shoe!! Well he had problems needless to say I thought we were going to have to cancel and I just lost it but thank God for hubby to put a temporary fix on things and allow us to go and have fun!!! I needed that I had so much pain built up and I feel better! I now have to add my sons problems to my list but I at least don't have all the tension I had so thats been my summer so far!
Theres been lots of good moments and some real painful ones ... I am trying one moment at a time!
Ok well I spilled so let me hear about yours
luv jan _________________

Oh yippee YACKS back!! and it's one I can answer!!!
OK let's see, this summer's memories....well yeah meeting Jan (Risa and Harleywoman) although sad, was a wonderful moment and a memory I will always treasure Jan.
Instead of vacation the Eames family had FFF week (Forced Family Fun). It was EXHAUSTING but fun.....what was so funny was because of everyone's different schedules the entire family was only together ONE time, (and then that included my youngest son's GF) and that was for dinner when we were returning from our DC trip.
In DC we went to a DC United soccer game and spent a day at the National Zoo, I have GREAT videos of the animals but here's a sample of stills.....
Water Country USA was a blast, but I didn't get any pictures!! Couldn't get the camera wet And the biggest bummer was Chris wasn't there!!
Hubby and I are hoping to take a trip at the end of the summer to go see my Mother in Law in the mountains of NC - it's always sooo pretty and relaxing out there. _________________ <a href="http://s195.photobucket.com/albums/z92/mandyeames/Chris%20banners%20and%20siggys/?action=view ¤t=untitled.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z92/mandyeames/Chris%20banners%20and%20siggys/untitled.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a> |

Jan! So happy Yack is Back!
Also think it's about time you had some fun.
Not so much in a talkative mood these days, but
I have to answer, just to show my love for ya.
I guess the best part of my summer was not losing my house.
Between the ARM and only working part time it seemed we were
destined to go under like so many others have.
Property values dropped and we feared we might be upside down
(mortgage bigger than the appraised value).
Long story short...the mortgage gods smiled on us and dropped our interest rate before we got behind.
I couldn't sleep at night wondering  how we were going to make the payments ahead of us.
The people that service our loan asked me if we would be interested in a new program. Duh!
So we have five years to get our act together before the rate goes back up. Breathing room, what more can I ask for?
Except maybe for Chris Rich to drop it like it's hot.
Runner up:
MLB & Sizzle's visit. The four of us stayed in a cabin at Moose Pond near Grand Lake.
Beautiful stuff. Surprisingly, there were
(was?..where is kooshes when I need her?)
really moose at the cabin. A fine time was had by all.

Jan! I'm so glad to see Yack being brought back... puts us all back into a routine
So far I have 2 highlights of my summer first and foremost and HANDS DOWN the winner was my 21st birthday... it was May 5th so not TECHNICALLY summer, but summer for those who had just finished up with college. I had soooo much fun, some of which I can't remember. It was nice to have all my friends out celebrating MY day.
The whole 4th of July weekend was incrediable. Lake all day, then random activities at night. It was def memorable and one of the best weekends I've had so far this year. And lastly, I spent that whole weekend with a great guy! I had forgotten what it felt like to be "adored" haha, so cheesy. But at the end of May I met a guy and we've been together every since. He truly makes me happy and even if he goes down in history as just another "summer love." I will always cherish the memories made with him in my life. _________________ Secks, Gokes and purple hi tops. August 1st and 2nd! "She got demaaands"

Jan! YAY! so excited to see another yack! =] I love them!!
Umm my favorite part of the summer so far would have to be a couple of things.
1. My family vacation to Gilford, NH. I love being up there on the lake. It is so peaceful and beautiful!! =]
2. Our Saturday night fires, drinking and hanging out with all my close friends! So much fun, we really create the best memories! And have some of the best laughs ever!
3. Having my friend Derik back in my life, he was in Iraq for awhile, and I saw him a couple of times when he got back home, but now I see him on a regular basis! He is the funniest kid ever. We have a lot of fun together.
I hate the fact that summer is almost over! =[ _________________ <a href="http://s288.photobucket.com/albums/ll188/GeE-BaBy-918/Amanda%20my%20angel/?action=view¤t=amand ainheavencopy.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/ll188/GeE-BaBy-918/Amanda%20my%20angel/amandainheavencopy.jp g" border="0" alt="My Angel"></a> |

Yay Yack's back!!
1. My family went on vacation to Indiana to see my grandparents. They live in such a pretty place!
^that's the barn. hehe
So yeah, we visited them and a few of my uncles & aunts & cousins came too. Really fun
On that same vacation (on the way back) we went to Gatlinberg Tennesee. Some of yall have probably been there because it's a big tourist thing, but it's really fun We hiked 2 miles (almost straight up) a mountain. And being myself, I complained bitterly the entire time, but I only took like 2 breaks. hehe
^Smokey Mountains!
2. I took an art class with one of my old art teachers. I really think I learned a lot and improved. We had to do a few pictures, and one main one. I don't have a picture of the main one (I'm getting it framed now. It's a dolphin ) but here's some...
^that's supposed to be me and my friend. lol

Aw, yack's back. And I know I'm waaaay behind on these things anyway! Lovin' all the pictures people have put up from their summers btw!
Let's see...I've had several good summer momments recently! The first was taking my girls out to Age Group Nationals in Binghamton, NY (I coach a synchronized swimming team). We only took a few girls and competed in duet and trio. The trio came in 8th and the duet came in 6th which was outstanding! Both were in finals and had great swims throughout the meet. I was so proud of them. Even tho the meet was incredibly long and I was absolutely exhausted afterwards, the results were great. A really good way to end the synchro season after a really stressful year.
The other good thing happend in my trip to Chicago a couple weekends ago when my friend and I very unexpectedly turned into a couple. Its terribly complicated but it makes me happy all at the same time. And yes Pink, I know you asked for a "fill you in" post and I will get to that one of these days, I promise! _________________

I would have to say that the best part of my summer so far would have to be my Saturday nights! Thats when I get together with my friends & we just always have the best times =]
The funniest part of my summer so far would have to be a couple weeks ago. My family recently had to move out of our old house(long story) & move into an apartment. My old house had a nice inground pool =] Well one day it was really hot out so me, my mom & Sam went over to the old house to lay in the sun =] The pool is broken though =[ So we set up this little blow up pool for like babies & we sat in that It was the funniest day ever cause my mom kept making jokes about what the people in the airplanes must have thought when they saw 3 people in this TINY pool right next to a nice big inground LOL!
Summer isn't over yet so I'm sure there will be better times to come =] _________________
