Melissa (GreenEyes) just texted me, Chris is with Phil at the 24th street stage in VA Beach...she told me to come out there, I can't hubby just got home after being gone for a week  She told me he is going to SING WITH PHIL!!  i told her to take video....I'm assuming she's there with GBCHES  How exciting!!!

He's wearing a straw fedora she tells me...unfortunately her batteries are low so we may not see video  but she'll take pics...I told her to tell him hi and ask him WHY DIDN'T HE TELL US???!!!  We coulda promoted him big time and got more peeps out there!!

OK Melissa and Steph JUST called me...Chris sang "I don't wanna be!!!!!" They said he was up there for like five minutes. Melissa was only able to get a couple of minutes of video before her battery died. She got a couple of stills too. They don't THINK Chris saw them...even though they were on the FRONT ROW!  Stay tuned for the play by play......

OK Melissa and Steph JUST got their pic taken with Phil and he remembered them from seeing them BEFORE!! Then he said "Hey I brought THE RICHNESS out with me tonight!!" PHIL KNOWS WHO WERE ARE?????  They asked him where Chris was and he apparently already left ....Melissa is going to try and get the vid and pics up here tonight when they get back.

The girls are on their way home, dissapointed they didn't get to chat with Chris, but glad they were in the right place at the right time and hey at least we'll get to see SOME of it

Oh, to clarify Mandy... Phil wasn't talking about the Richness as in us. He was talking about Chris as being "the Richness." He recognized us and told us that "he brought the Richness with him tonight." (meaning Chris). That solidified the fact (to us) that he remembered us as being big Chris fans.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a treat for Melissa and I. We had planned for months to go see Phil at the Amerian Music Festival. We both love Phil and will always support him. We even drove to DC last fall to see him perform with the Navy Band. We had no idea that Chris would be there so it really was a special treat. And I think he did see us. We were right there front and center, and he looked right at us.
While we were sitting there waiting for the show to start Phil came out to do some warm up. I heard him say to one of the crew "Make sure that mic is working because I'm having a guest singer tonight." I immediately said to Melissa that I thought it would be Chris. It wasn't but a few minutes and Melissa kind of looked over towards the street and saw Blue, and Chris was walking in front of him talking on the phone. We could see the straw fedora. There were 3 buses in back of the stage so we figured they went in to Phil's bus. Then Phil came out. He was awesome. He looked good and sounded very strong. After about 3 songs he introduced Chris as a former idol, good looking, and a great singer. When he came out he looked so cute, cargo shorts, a shirt, a scarf wrapped around his neck and the hat. He sang Gavin DeGraw's "I Don't Wanna Be". His voice was very clear and strong, and he was chewing on his gum the whole time he was on stage. SO CUTE!!! We really hoped that we could talk to him, but it didn't happen. We did manage to talk to Phil, and he actually remembered us. He looked at me and said it was good to see us again. I had made up my mind that I was not going to ask him about Chris, because it would have been rude. He remembered that we had come to DC to see him. He then said he brought Chris(or the Richness as he calls him) for us, so we knew then that he really remembered us. He knew from all of the shows last year that we were Chris Rich fans. We talked to him a few minutes and got some pictures. He did say that Chris had been in the studio. So we were some what disappointed, but not too much because we never expected to see Chris. Here and gone in a flash, but hey we got to look at HHC and hear him sing. Phil was awesome and so was Chris.
I have some pics, but I haven't even looked at them yet. They probably aren't very god. I don't have a camera like Melissa's. Hers shoold be up later or tomorrow.

lol the name always confused me a bit! cause i would call him the Richness, but it was the name of the fandom too haha.
