So sometimes I think we loose focus on why we are all here. We get impatient and aggrivated at times waiting for Chris to come along and give us something new... However, being true fans, we know we need to push feelings aside and be by HIS SIDE no matter what...
heres a fun little survey where we can read eachothers answers and its all about chris...

I think this is a great idea, sometimes folks forget why we are all here, I'm a fan till the end 
1. When was the first time you realized you were going to be a Chris Richardson fan? when he walked in the room to audition
2. What is his favorite performance he did on idol, on tour, or any performance that you saw (even if you youtubed it)? Tony Bennet night and his cowboy commercial were both HOT!!!
3. What is your favorite feature about him? can you say "Adult Forum" just kidding... his smile is awesome and his eyes are gorgeous to name two...
4. If you have met him, what is one thing he did or said that touched your heart? If you haven't met him whats one thing he has said publically that made you melt? when he put his arm around me to take a picture and my friend was having trouble getting the camera right so we had to stand there and he kinda was rubbing my back... oh mercy
5. What is your favorite part about being a Richness Gal or Guy? all the wonderful new friends I have made--its awesome
6. What made you join the richness? I read what you gals wrote on the IDOL boards and then once I found you again I had to join, it made me feel like I was part of a wonderful fan base for a wonderful person.
7. If we could build Chris' future for him what is one thing you would love to see happen? I would love to see him sign with someone who will appreciate him and his music and record and write songs and appear on award shows and win awards and just for him to be happy doing what he loves to do.
8. If you could tell him one thing it would be.... my phone number
9. what is your favorite line of a song he has performed and what does it mean to you? any line in "All Alone" that song just hits me in the heart strings
10. Why are you still routing for Chris? What does he have that some other Idol's don't have? CHARISMA

1. When was the first time you realized you were going to be a Chris Richardson fan? When my friend Marie told me her cousins son was going to audition....that would be HHC!
2. What is his favorite performance he did on idol, on tour, or any performance that you saw (even if you youtubed it)? On idol i loved DGAMA, on tour I loved his duet with Jordin, since then his performance of All Alone at the canal Club last June
3. What is your favorite feature about him? His sweet sweet sweet disposition
4. If you have met him, what is one thing he did or said that touched your heart? If you haven't met him whats one thing he has said publically that made you melt? All his shoutouts and kind gestures for our dear RICHSISTA, Amanda Jones. How much he TOTALLY appreciates EVERYTHING the RICHNESS does for him...he told us this at the Canal Club
5. What is your favorite part about being a Richness Gal or Guy? Being UNIFIED in our support of Chris...well most of the time  
6. What made you join the richness? Did I have a choice??? 
7. If we could build Chris' future for him what is one thing you would love to see happen? A profitable independent label of his own and a tour to EVERY Richness town across the globe!
8. If you could tell him one thing it would be.... GIVE US SOME MORE MUSIC! and "Do you realize how much time, effort and money we've spent on you!!!???"
9. what is your favorite line of a song he has performed and what does it mean to you? hhhmmmm I LOVED it when he (intentionally?) fluffed his lines in NO AIR when he sang at Jordin's event in AZ. It makes me giggle everytime I hear it!
10. Why are you still routing for Chris? What does he have that some other Idol's don't have? cuz he has the talent and /I don't want to see him give up on his dream.....and he's such a sweetheart. there's no front to him, watchya see is whatchya get.

*"You have the cutest accent." I don't remember if those were the EXACT words, but I know it was "cute accent." I guess thats special (didn't really "touch my heart") bc I HATE my accent with a passion. And him telling me 'Happy Birthday' via Blue on my 21st! Also, all that he did to support Amanda.
5. What is your favorite part about being a Richness Gal or Guy?
*My THBer's and all the friends I've made here. Yall are like second family.
6. What made you join the richness?
*I lurked on the AI Boards for about a week or two, I ALWAYS seen Meames and Storie posting and they just seemed like genuinely sweet, nice people and I've been here every since.
7. If we could build Chris' future for him what is one thing you would love to see happen?
*An album, hell even just a legit single that is promoted well and hits radio. I'd LOVE for him to do a FULL US tour with Hogie.
8. If you could tell him one thing it would be....
*Even though you are pretty much MIA lately, THANK YOU, because without you I wouldn't have made the wonderful friends I've made in The Richness.
9. what is your favorite line of a song he has performed and what does it mean to you?
*"I watched the sunrise way too many times, without you by my side" I just think that line is so powerful and hardhitting in that song.
10. Why are you still routing for Chris? What does he have that some other Idol's don't have?
*I'm routing for Chris because I know he has what it takes to be great musically, I just don't FEEL like he is using that potential to his advantage at the moment. I'm also sticking around and hoping he proves me wrong.

*As soon as he auditioned... I really liked him and Phil, then during the top 12 i became a hardcore chris rich fan..
2. What is his favorite performance he did on idol, on tour, or any performance that you saw (even if you youtubed it)?
*Idol "Wanted Dead or Alive"
*Concert "What Hurts the Most", "Sexy Back" and "Geek in the pink"
3. What is your favorite feature about him?
*Eyes and smile... his smile gets me everytime.
4. If you have met him, what is one thing he did or said that touched your heart? If you haven't met him whats one thing he has said publically that made you melt?
*There is a lot that he did that really touched my heart when I finally got to meet him. One was being so nice to us and showing support to not only Amanda but the Richness.... It was like as soon as we handed him those post cards and bussiness cards, he was so appreciative. One thing he said that touched my heart was the thank you for the dog tags. He was so sincere and sweet about it and also the way he talked to her in the video "Your gonna be just fine" that whole day touched my heart honestly...
5. What is your favorite part about being a Richness Gal or Guy?
Knowing we all have eachothers backs... this isnt just all about chris... its about bonding and coming together with one common intrest, but making friends that will last a lifetime.
6. What made you join the richness?
*I was a late comer, but i had heard about the richness way before I joined and when chris had a meebo up, Meames and Nurse KJ lured me in... and I am forever greatful for that! =]
7. If we could build Chris' future for him what is one thing you would love to see happen?
Success in whatever he does. A CD and I agree a Tour with Hoge = AMAZING
8. If you could tell him one thing it would be....
*That even though we are all guilty of being impatiant and getting annoyed from time to time... keep trucking... WE ARE NOT GOING ANYWHERE... =]

From my eyes Tonight I wanna cry"- during the top 24. it is a powerful song, and he sang it so well and you could see in his performance that it meant something to him.

*Because I know that he wont let us down, as mad as i get, i know he will surprise us someday... and his voice and talent is to good to let go of =]

1. When was the first time you realized you were going to be a Chris Richardson fan? I liked him all season but I really knew I liked him when he performed WDOA...that was so HOT!
2. What is his favorite performance he did on idol, on tour, or any performance that you saw (even if you youtubed it)? On Idol - WDOA Tour - I don't think I actually "heard" anything...to busy drooling  And the Edy's Tour...All Alone with his guitar can seriously melt your heart!
3. What is your favorite feature about him? Feature? Seriously. Is there anything that is not the Feature Presentation? 
4. If you have met him, what is one thing he did or said that touched your heart? If you haven't met him whats one thing he has said publically that made you melt? When I met him for the first time it was the day after Mother's Day and I had missed Mother's Day with my son to fly out to VA (it was the only flight that would get me to the homecoming on time) and when I told him that with tears in my eyes he stood up and said "aw baby give me a hug"...I nearly passed out...but got a FABULOUS Chris Rich hug! Then when he came to Houston for the Edy's tour he was so sweet with my son...calling him by name and signing everything Dawson took up there...all 50 items (some of them old napkins picked up off the floor)
5. What is your favorite part about being a Richness Gal or Guy? The fantastic friends I have made!!
6. What made you join the richness? The feeling of belonging.
7. If we could build Chris' future for him what is one thing you would love to see happen? For his dream to come true...the way he wants it to.
8. If you could tell him one thing it would be.... To check out our boards and see what fantastic fans he has! You all have been so good to me in my time of need...I wish he could know what I know...it would warm his heart like never before!

I like everything he says...especially when he messes it up and comes back so light hearted!

During the tour When he gave me a huge hug and thanked me for coming all the way to VA and when he remembered me when I saw him again on the Edy's tour.

By far all the peeps that I have met on here. I know that I havent always been around but you girls are still my fam and I love ya!
6. What made you join the richness?
Steff made me see the light and what awesome peeps you were and I am eternally grateful!

For all his dreams to come true! Album, tour, international superstardom!

From his audtion. When he was singing and looking confident but you could see that his hands were shaking. Just loved that for some reason.
2. What is his favorite performance he did on idol, on tour, or any performance that you saw (even if you youtubed it)?
Hmm tough choice here...Idol..WDOA...I've listened to and watched that performance sooo many times. Thought it was one of his best on the show for sure, on tour Ain't No Sunshine LOVED that even though it was short and WHTM and the whole time he was onstage with Blake. After Idol, any performance of All Alone and the YouTube video of Apologize. LOVE that.
3. What is your favorite feature about him?
First, his voice. just amazing. and I don't know what word to use here....I love how he seems shy and quiet but then he'll talk to anyone and get up on stage and sing his heart out. So ya..I just love that about him.
4. If you have met him, what is one thing he did or said that touched your heart? If you haven't met him whats one thing he has said publically that made you melt?
Ok. So when he was walking up the line and getting closer to where I was I had Sandy already lined up to ask him to give me a hug pic lol cause I was too shy to ask him for one. So when he got to me I gave him the couple of things I had for him and he said "Aw you didn't have to do that!" and this really sweet voice, and then "c'mere" and me of course going omg in my head he gave me an amazing hug and said thank you. So so sweet. I didn't have to get her to ask for the hug after all casue he offered one. <3 <3 Best hug ever. Then aftewards when he was getting ready to go into the building I was taking a picture of him after he was turning away and just thought you know I was getting a good shot of him for far away, when I looked at the picture afterwards he was looking right at my camera with this cute little smile on his face. Love it.
5. What is your favorite part about being a Richness Gal or Guy?
I don't know. I can't pick just one thing, it's a great group of people to talk to about a great great person.
6. What made you join the richness?
Well when people started getting strange over at IDF it wasn't a nice place to hang out anymore so I was looking for somewhere else to talk about Chris with Chris fans, and I had been a member here for a while because I joined it in the first place because it was for chris but didn't actually come visit the board but then I got a message on myspace from someone from here telling me I should check it out
7. If we could build Chris' future for him what is one thing you would love to see happen?
Everything that he wants to happen that would make all his career dreams come true.
8. If you could tell him one thing it would be....
Hmm....I don't know. there's alot of things i would like to talk to him about.

He has the love for music/performing/his fans. I actually think the same thing about why I am still a fan of Chris and why I'm still a fan of Blake. i know this is about Chris but you know. I find that with him and Blake they both just live for music and adore their fans. There have been sooo many Idols that i've loved in the past but chris and Blake are the only ones that I still like so long after their season ended.

he changed my life and he is the most important person in my life. no matter how much he tries to understand, he never will even catch a glimpse of it. i could never live without him.

What a great idea for a thread!! I am enjoying reading everyone's responses.
1. When was the first time you realized you were going to be a Chris Richardson fan?
Initially, it was because I had heard that there was someone from my area that made it through on American Idol. When I first heard him sing, I knew that my "hometown boy" was the one I'd be supporting.
2. What is his favorite performance he did on idol, on tour, or any performance that you saw (even if you youtubed it)? Tough question!I really liked DGAMA on the show; I felt like it was a breakthrough week for him. I also remember Jordin telling us in Pittsburgh that Chris was having a hard time remembering the words before he went on and he and Jordin were praying over it before the show.
3. What is your favorite feature about him?
I will say the eyes.
4. If you have met him, what is one thing he did or said that touched your heart? If you haven't met him whats one thing he has said publicly that made you melt?
When he was on the Idol tour in Greensboro, I was sick and almost didn't get to see him before the show. At the after show party, he called me by name and asked me if I was feeling better. After that, it was in Hampton a week later when he remembered that I hadn't been feeling well the week before and when it was my turn he said "Melissa, how're you feelin darlin?" What a sweetie! I felt like he really pays attention and remembers what people talk about with him and that touched my heart. 
5. What is your favorite part about being a Richness Gal or Guy?
I have made several friends for life and for that I am very grateful!
6. What made you join the richness?
It's a great place to stay updated on Chris's career.
7. If we could build Chris' future for him what is one thing you would love to see happen?
I would love for him to have a successful album but if that doesn't pan out, a successful songwriting career.
8. If you could tell him one thing it would be....
It would be my favorite quote, "If you see someone without a smile, give them yours."
9. what is your favorite line of a song he has performed and what does it mean to you?
I love this line from "What Hurts the Most..." Getting up, getting dressed, livin’ with this regret but I know if I could do it over
I would trade, give away, all the words that I saved in my heart
that I left unspoken. The lyrics remind me of something I went through in high school.
10. Why are you still routing for Chris? What does he have that some other Idol's don't have?
I think that he has a tremendous amount of talent. He is much more personable than a lot of the other Idols that I have met. Good luck Chris!
