Tammy (Amanda's mom) has formed Amanda's Idols team to walk in Memphis on December 6th. Tonight I registered to be a member of the team  I'm so excited!!  The plan is for Mr Meames and I to DRIVE out to Memphis and stop by to see his momma on the way and spend time with her. In the next few days I should be able to establish my "site" where peeps can go and "sponsor" me and so raise $ for St. Judes, who as you all know cared so well for our beloved Amanda. I know times are tight for everyone, but I would please ask that you donate whatever you can to this cause. I read on the site that we have to raise a minimum of $750 for the team to be able to participate. I'll verify that as soon as I can...but I know Tammy will be heartbroken if we can't do this...she promised Amanda that we would do the walk for her.
I know the RICHNESS will pull through, ya'll are AMAZING!

I'm pretty positive Meames that we'll be able to raise the $750 we need. We'll get the word out and I'm sure Chris will get behind the team as well.
I won't be able to attend, but I will be more than happy to contribute and to help get the word out.

aaww thanks guys, I hope to talk with Tammy and the peeps in charge of the walk today to make sure what I did was the correct thing to get registered.....it was very confusing to me, and you know how dumb I can be with this computer stuff  Anyways, I'll keep ya'll posted on what I find out.

Maria Richardson donated to my page  I miss Maria For those of you who don't know Maria is Chris's cousins wife and she was quite a regular with us when we over at the American Idol boards....what a sweetheart!

aaww thanks Steff. No worrries, I believe you have until December 6th to donate. You can use either visa/mastercard debit or credit I believe....I just don't EVER use my debit card online, I always use CREDIT.

I am so upset.. i dont think us girls will make it to the walk... money is just so tight right now...
I will def me donating and I have some friends and family who will contribute for sure.

I only use my debit card because I got rid of all my credit cards.  Credit cards are EVIL!  
The cool thing about my bank is that when you have unauthorized charges on your debit card, they credit you back the money right away and then they perform an investigation to make sure fraud isn't being committed. So I personally feel safe using my debit card. But that's just me.

Found out yesterday that the donation "deadline" is the 24th, which is Monday Not that you can't donate AFTER that, but that's the deadline for our teams final $ total for "race day." If anyone still wants to donate here's my link again:

Hi peeps from Memphis TN!!  Have not spoken with Tammy yet, we've been texting back and forth. We are in one hotel until tomorrow then we have to move to another one cuz we couldn't get reservations at one place for the whole time. I've put out a myspace bulletin for any peeps that have yet to donate and want to. So far Amanda's Idols have raised $1259!!! But you can still donate Big thanks to all who have donated so far
