Thank you all my Richness lovelies! And  @ "Happy Dir Day!" Venona...HILARIOUS!
I wanted to let you all know how blessed I am to have such wonderful friends in my life. I am grateful for all of you here because if it weren't for you, I would have been gone from here a long time ago. And not because Chris isn't talented and fine...cuz he's both of those things. But I am ADD (literally diagnosed with it and I take meds for it  ) and I move on to something else very quickly if I am not seeing results. However, you all keep me coming back.
And my best friend who now lives in Atlanta, I am spending my whole birthday weekend with her in the peach state. Let me tell you what this heffa did for me (and I say "heffa" with the utmost love and adoration ).
So I fly in late-late Thursday night (flight was delayed a few hours due to the storms in Atlanta). Friday, my bff took me to have Japanese for lunch and we met with a friend there. Then she took me to her nail shop, and got me the BEST pedicure with a cute design on my big toes, a FLY set of nails haha...so cute. They are like a french manicure, but instead of white tips, they are light pink with glitter (I'll have to upload them to my Facebook for all to see). I'm so scared that no one back home will know how to do them the way they look now. I also got my eyebrows done and my lip waxed LOL!
On Saturday (my birthday), we went shoe shopping (I have the cutest flip flops) and afterwards, my bff put on a dinner party at her place for me and invited a few of her awesome friends over and we had music, fun, drinks, and TONS of delicious food. I had a delicious birthday cake and we turned in after 1:00.
Right now, I'm waiting for her to get ready so we can head over to her church. Her pastor is Pastor Mason Betha who most of you may know as Mase...a former rapper signed to P. Diddy's label. He's totally sold out for God and I can't wait to hear him preach!
After service, we're doing lunch and then she's going to take me to "The Underground" which has a rich history (the underground railroad). And there are tons of places to shop. Then in the evening comes my favorite part. We are getting full body massages for an hour. I CAN'T WAIT!!! This is a dream come true, let me tell you. If any of you really know me, I have been PRAYING for a massage as a gift for the longest, and my bff is getting me that on top of everything else she's given me in the days before. I can't tell you how blessed this weekend has been for me. No words...absolutely no words.
I fly back home early tomorrow morning (BOOO!!!) and it's back to reality. I will be at work around noon. But in the meantime, I will enjoy the rest of my birthday weekend and remember that I only have 3 full workdays this week since Friday is a holiday. So YAY! Haha!
