I'm content with my Matty leaving, I knew it was coming but was PRAYING for a shocker and that Adam would leave. Matt already had 2 pre-idol albums... Thanks to Storie I've heard one of them and REALLY loved it so I have no doubts we are going to be hearing from Matt again soon  Now I'm ready for some Matty stalking on the tour

PS... I agree about Gokey (Don't kill me hoars) he's very talented but just not my thing. If he wins I see another Taylor Hicks scenario.

I don't think Adam was really in the bottom 2. They can manipulate that any way they want as long as the lowest really goes home. I was hoping it would be Adam but in my heart knew it would be Matt. I'm with ya Pink. Can't wait to see Matt on tour and listen to his amazing, soulful voice. Adam is a screamer. I just don't see him as an Idol. He needs to go straight to broadway.

I think its funny that on fox news last night Matt and Chris have the most downloads on itunes but Matt went home? I think Adam should have went... hes the only one that I am not crazy for.. Yes the man has RANGE beyond words but honestly he sounds like a woman 85% of the time.. If you were to close your eyes during his performance and didnt know who he was and someone was to guess guy or girl.. it would be difficult. Plus he is the THEATRICAL!! I agree with randy on that one... hit up broadway... not Idol. Sorry Adam Lovers...  .... just MY OPINION...
I love gokey I really do the soul in his voice is rediculous.. but yes he is getting a bit boring... hopefully he shows us some other side of him during rock week...
I think this week benifits Allison and Probably Adam... Chris just may be the on to go home ...
I can honestly say this is the most talented top 5 they ever had...
Last night when I was watching Idol.. Gokey and Allison reminded me A LOT of JORDIN and BLAKE... anyone else agree?!

I agree Steph, no way was Adam in the bottom two, that was just to keep everyone watching. I had a funny feeling it would be Matt last night, don't ask me why, I just did. I sure wish they would make the result show just a half hour long. All the junk in between is just a waste IMO. I like Kris and Adam (sorry but I do) Danny has just not done it for me. Allison is okay but I don't see her as your next American Idol... again IMO. At this point I see it as Kris and Adam....

I did feel Matt would go but I can't help but to miss him so much..Its thats same emptiness I felt when Chris left...I should quit watching the # 5 elimination episode...lol... I was handling it ok until I watched Idol Extra and saw the swell in his eyes..he wanted so much to stay but thought all day that he may be going... ... He melts me with his soulful voice and when he is behind the piano...oh lord (need an adult section) for my thoughts  .. I know great things will happen. Kara said she will hook him up with producers ? I just wonder is that something they do for all the contestents (at least top 10) and was that the way it was a few years back ... was that something that Chris had access too? and didn't pan out or is that just something that Kara brings...cause I know she does producing and songwriting.... Anyways I love this whole top 5 ..these where the ones I wanted... I am happy Daughtry will be on this wed (my season 5 fav:) ... I still see an Adam ,Danny finale although I would love to see Kris Allen in there .... well back to missing my soulfully-adorable-infectious smiling-dimple taunting -personality-pleasing ,rediculous-riffing,pulse-stopping piano kid from Kalamazoo.... love ya Matt
