I am still missin Matt  ... but looking forward to the tour  .. So its Rock week with Slash as the mentor and Daughtry performing his new song on Wed... I would think there will be 2 songs this week... Not sure what to expect although I think Allison and Adam will do fine.. but ya know the one I am looking forward to the most is Kris Allen because of his ability to arrange a song and his creativity... Oh and I still love Danny too... any thoughts ????

I'm no longer watching Idol, I'm bitter because of Matt being gone 
Actually I will just to hate on Adam for not being eliminated! I don't care if he can sing or not.
I hope Allison kills it this week though!

Those 2 would be my choice too Meames. I still can't believe I am going to be out of the country. It is finale week for everything, and I don't have a DVR or Tivo. Melissa is going to tape Idol for me. What was I thinking last summer when I booked this trip?

heatherloveschris is at Idol and apprently there was a stage malfunction, the stage manager fell down a 20ft drop, they took her out on a stretcher with a neck brace, then after that one of the domes exploded and theres glass and stuff everywhere...Idol might be delayed or cancelled

Meee tooo cand1c1!!! I haven't watched all of the show I had to tape it and I'll watch what I missed tomorrow. I did however see the gush/vomit fest the judges had over Adam and it just disgusted me  I voted like a mad woman for Kris and Danny...

Sick or no ladies
Who, not just Idol contestants, can do Robert Plant?
Truth is, I always hated Led Zep, but the guy
pulled it off
Perhaps the one spot is not so terrible if ya bring It.
No worries however, Adam is not going to win
Idol, this year, has just been "something to do"
as I wait for my Denver Nuggets to show the
NBA why they are hot and dangerous
King James, without a doubt, the best player in the NBA
My question is: Is LeBron on the best team?

I still give Adam MAD props for his talent. You're right. No one else could do Robert Plant. And he does have the best voice on the show. But I do feel like this show is diong everything possible to make sure he wins. The judges so obviously want him to win that its quite sickening at this point. I can barely even look at Adam at this point I'm so annoyed with it. And that's just besides the fact that he's so completely over the top with EVERYTHING. and so cocky about it too. Ok, ok, he's good and he KNOWS it. But ughhhhhhh. I'm over it. Really, at this point, I just want anyone but Adam to win. Sounds silly, but I can't help it. haha. Danny's been my guy from Day 1 so ultimately I want him to win. But I'd be just as happy with Allison or Kris. But please, NO ADAM.
And V...LeBron is the best and so is HIS TEAM!! GO CAVS!!! :-P

Well, I can't lie...LeBron is the glue that holds that team together. So I will admit that. But I think that LeBron has been a great influence on the rest of the team. He's actually been a strong leader and has taught them the value of the word TEAM! Sure, maybe without LeBron things wouldn't be going so well for us, but the Cavs have depth. They've got some guys who can come off the bench and chip in anytime like Daniel "Boobie" Gibson(Point Guard) and Sasha Pavlovic (Shooting Guard).
And let's not forget about Delonte West who is an energizer bunny. He just keeps going and going. he's played more playoff minutes than any other guy on the team. When Mike Brown rests the rest of the starters, he leaves Delonte in. Not to mention that Delonte is outstanding defensively.
We acquired Point Guard Mo Williams in the offseason and he has been a tremendous addition to the team! I believe he's the second leading scorer on teh team. And of course Big Z (Zydrunas Ilgauskas) our starting Center who is big and dopey, but is fearless and strong. And our big Power Forward Anderson Varejao who proves himself defensively every single game!
At any rate, the team has depth. Would it be interessting to see them try to play without "The King?" Of course. But I think a lot of people would be surprised. I guess we'll see how these playoffs turn out and we'll see who's got the better team in the end.  Let's start an NBA playoff thread in Anything Goes if we want to continue this convo so we don't clutter up this thread! LOL!
ok, sorry to get so off topic in this thread! Had to do a little educating...but at any rate...Anyone but Adam Lambert, please! hehehe. Either Kris or Allison will go tonight. i'll be sad to see either one of them go!

although I like him a lot more than Allison
VFTW is gonna keep Danny going
who would have imagined Danny would be their boy
goes to show the really top quality of season 8
