I know not everyone will agree but I think America got it totally right tonight - Danny can sing but Kris and Adam are truly the most artistic and creatively talented top two I've seen on AI in a long time IMHO. I'm stoked

America got it WRONG IMO.
I don't think Adam belongs on American Idol because it's a competition for potential top 100 chart toppers. So if does win, he will more than likely be a low-end winner (i.e. Ruben, Taylor). Not saying the boy can't sing...cuz he can SANG. However, he's not relevant to today's market. He'll be back on Broadway, I'm sure of it. And I mean that in the highest respect...because he would be VERY good. Possibly even win a Tony.
I was hoping to see a Kris/Danny finale. Or even an Allison/Kris finale. Not really excited this year. In fact, my favorite since I've been watching Idol has never won. If I had my way, Matt Giraud would be in the finals with either Kris or Danny.
TANT!...I got my BB wish last year. Here's to hoping I get my AI wish one of these days.

I'm with you Storie on Matt - he was my number 1 fav this year!! Matt and Kris finale would have been TOTALLY awesome:)

I agree with Firstmate, while all three are very talented I think America got it right  Very touching vids of them going back home to all their fans. Had tears in my eyes for Danny's going home 
All along I have liked Adam and Kris. I really don't want to see Adam win, I want Kris to take the top honor. Adam will be just fine, no doubt already is, winning would give Kris the exposure so necessary to succeed.
I honestly have to say I was a bit miffed that Katy Perry had Adam's name on the back of her cloak, what was that all about  I thought she would recognize all three of them in some way, but obviously not. I didn't think that was very professional of her, and quite honestly, thought it was rude.  IMO

OMG so glad you mentioned that Katy Perry thing ReelLady!! I also thought that was so distasteful - I totally expected her to change cloaks or something to have all 3 on there at some point and she didn't! Surprised AI let her do that as well. But then I was also surprised AI let Adam be on the cover of EW magazine last week - it's like he had already won or something! I feel sorry for the contestants when there is one like that that gets all the publicity!

Oh don't get me started on the pimping of Adam by AI...it totally disgusts me  The cape thing was MIND blowing, and don't ya know AI will spin it (because there will be controversy over it). Just like they spun Chris/Simon Va Tech...that's what you can do when you have bucks and monopoly! Sing he can, but why oh why do we have to be subjected to that AWFUL screeching, it just is NOT necessary  And the tongue, just let me go vomit now thinking about it
I will watch next week and will CALL my votes in for Kris, although what's the point? Yeah Adam will win, cuz AI will MAKE it happen...and then I'm done with Idol!

Yea I do hate the pimping of Adam but to me, Adam himself seems fairly humble. He's always complimenting the band and saying he's proud to be up there with Kris and Danny. I think he is extremely talented but I persnally don't care for the screeching on the high notes, but he can pull it off like no one else.

I agree he seems like a very nice kid. I don't like how AI is pimping him either but what can you do, it's not the first time they have showed bias and it won't be the last. It's not Adam's fault as we know they have no say in what the producers do.
We have all sorts of music being represented by Idols, rock, soul, hip hop, country, and that is what music is all about. It's a younger fan base out there this year, did any of you notice how young all the fans were for all three of them, not like our Chris' seaon. That is what the young people want.
I don't want Adam to win I want Kris to win, and I will vote for Kris (I haven't voted at all yet this year), but I have to recoginize that he is up there giving it his all and that is his style. How many hated Blakes style?

I hope everyone picks up the slack and votes for Kris. I'm really hoping all of theDanny fans vote for him. I felt sorry for him and really wanted a Danny/Kris finale. They said on the Today show it was closer then most thought. I voted for Kris for 2 hours the other night, almost 400 votes. I can't vote next week, because I will be out of the country(and going crazy that I can't watch)
I'm with you all on the pimping of Adam this entire eason. Totally unprofessional. And the Adam cape worn by Katy Perry should not have been allowed IMO. I'm with Storie though. I don't see him as recordable Top 100. He needs to go to broadway. I can't stand to watch him and the screeching OMG!!

Ah...Storie Storie Storie... I love and miss you too Richsista  ... A Matt and Kris Finale would have been my dream come true !!!! Gosh I miss Matt...
Watching Idol extra and watching Danny talk with Ace young about "Sophias Heart" melted me.. Knowing how involved Ace is with his charity work ,and the two exchanging numbers makes me proud and feel that more good things will come.... I am so Happy for Kris...He deserves to be there and I was afraid he might get overshadowed with all the judges petty distractions and attempts to throw him under....but God Bless the Simple Man and he will be able to show us more of his artistry and creativity...
Not even touching the cape with Katie Perry  or the "over drama" and almost fainting by Paula Abdul... and the fake applause she showed Kris...  ... I am just happy America sees beyond their 
I am looking forward to what he will show us next week... I agree I don't think Adam likes or approves of all this "promotion" going on and the guys all genuinely seem to like eachother.... I wish it could just be about them.
I think Jordin has really grown and did a good job last night. Wish they wouldn't have cut her off with a commerial would have been nice to let her talk a little bit...
Ok I will be the first to admit that I like a baby with the clip of Kris and his Dad hugging... the guy is so REAL ... I would love to see for the Finale Kris perform with either Jason Mraz or Gavin Degraw... I would love to see that 
Ya know what else I would love to see...Is A Soul concert... HHC,Matt and Hogie ....ok... I won't novel anymore ...

vote for kris! .. gotta agree with you guys, a Matt-Kris finale would have been amazing! im gonna vote for Kris like crazy!! can't believe all the promoting thats been going on for adam, it's ridiculous already! .. on kris' fansite there is a link to a program you can download that keeps calling in to vote. im thinking about getting it so i can vote for kris like crazy so he wins! lol

Whoa...poopers...didn't think I was starting a hating thread by just stating my THOUGHTS and OPINION...which so many do around here about many other things. World sure would be a weird place if we all liked the SAME thing and didn't disagree. However, I'm glad we all agree on one thing and that's why this forum/site is here and that's CHRIS RICH

What a polarizing world we live in - in more ways than one!! That's why God made us all so different - to see if we can get above the differences and become unified in His love.
