I've just been wondering if they run things differently than they did for the Season 6 tour...I saw Matt tweet that they will be meeting people after the show. Does that mean everybody who sticks around or do you need to get ahold of meet and greets or what??

You don't need "meet and greet" passes to meet the idols. They usually all come out before the show and most after the show. You just have to have alot of patience and be able to stand and wait in the heat and crowds.

yeah, and from my past experiences, you have to be a little bit aggressive .. otherwise you just get shoved to the back of the line lol |

Interesting. I guess I just didn't really know what I was doing for the show I went to...I had no idea where they'd be before the show; I did walk around a bit...and after the show, several of them walked by inside (the doors were glass and you could see through) but never came out b/c a meet and greet was going on inside. (besides Lakisha who came out for a minute or so, signed a few things, and ran to the M&G)

After the show you have to go wait at the buses. Sometimes it takes a while, and they don't always all come out. Before the show you need to find out where they are going to be meeting fans. Security will tell you. Some of them have press to do before shows so they tend to be rushed. Others will talk and take pics. And yes you do have to be aggressive. If you just stand back you will miss out. I have been going to the concerts since season 2 and have always been able to meet those who chose to come out.

Okay cool! It's just all so foreign to me since you say security will tell me, and at the Jacksonville show, I asked a few people who worked there and who were in American Idol shirts working with various attractions if they knew, and they all told me that I couldn't meet the contestants. hope I have better luck this time; thanks for the information |

That's bull. Just be there when the buses arrive the day of the show. They have toget off. You need to do some researchand find out from the venue where the buses will be coming in.

yes, that is right. just find where the busses will be coming into the arena and stand somewhere near by. that way when the busses arive they see the fans and they usually come outside not long after and sign pics and take pics.
