So I was chatting with Tandt the other day and suggested we start a Twitter Tutorial thread (if only just for me  )
See, Chris is twittering more than he's using any other form of communication and not all of us are on Twitter, and those of us that are are not completely certain of how it works, (like me ). So I was thinking we could try and help out as many Richness peeps as poss and maybe encourage more to visit our board so they can learn how to tweet with HHC!
Things have been sooooo quiet lately and our user numbers have dropped to all time lows  I'll go ahead and promote this on our myspace and facebook in the hopes of creating more traffic on here 
So in this thread go ahead and post any questions you might have and hopefully our Twitter gurus will be able to answer them, also if you have any helpful hints for twitter dummies like myself  , you can post them here too

I actually don't understand what wefollow.com is? is it just a directory, or is it somehow a way to get more people to follow, and if so, is it something we can put out in out tweets? I went there, and it seems like a directory.. just curious.

Have you all seen the newest thing out on twitter called the bubble tweet? Matt Giraud did it, and it is really cool.. they send a link in their tweet called a bubbletweet and bubble comes out that the owner is actually talking to you.. I would love to see Chris do this, but I don't know how hard it is, and I don't want to bug him... it would be awesome if he did it though.

yeah the bubble tweet thing is soo cool! i saw matts, and danny gokey did one too. ... i think Chris should do it ... i'm pretty sure that wefollow is just a directory if you're trying to look up certain people. |

To sign up you just go to www.bubbletweet.com and enter in your twitter name and then it asks you if you want to use a webcam or upload a video. seems quite simple and a lot of fun. Videos can only be like 30 seconds long.

OK so I have a couple of questions and some of you have tried to answer these for me and I don't like the answer so I'm searching for a different one 
If someone replies to me @meamesy, can I be notified via email or text so I can go see that? AND what in the world does RT mean...I see lotsa peeps using it and am clueless..also the # sign too

i think RT means "Reply Tweet" .. i think that the # sign is just a typo for the @ sign. im not positive about either though lol

RT means re tweet .. re-posting someone's tweet...if you copy a tweet sent to you and send it back or send it to someone else you put a RT in front of it and then can add your own comment behind it ( if theres space )
EX> if Chris sent a tweet -- "@IMChrisRich going to the beach
@IMACapsFan RT @IMChrisRich going to the beach -wish I could go!
I read that on the twitter help section

think I've discovered that the # sign in front of a usesrname creates a link in your post that will take peeps to all posts about that username

Yup. You nailed it meames! That's what the # is. Also, if enough people are tweeting about a subject with a # in front of it, it'll show up in the Trending Topics on the right hand side.
