Friday, July 31 – Arrive in Lexington, NC (aka Pinkville)
So as you know, the plan was to get as many hoars to join us at the Greensboro show as possible. Unfortunately, TANT! could not make it, which made us REALLY sad. So Pink came up with this awesome idea to bring the Idols to her. We made and printed out an “I Love You Tiffany” sign to have the Idols pose in pics with it.
My plan initially was to fly there and get a room for a few days. Well, my pocketbook wasn’t having that LMAO! So I ended up driving 10 hours there from Detroit and staying with Pink and her family. They were so awesome and I would never forget the time we spent together. I do wish however that Pink and I weren’t so pooped Saturday and Sunday night to watch movies with her parents LOL!
So I got there Friday evening around 5:00 and Meamesy (bless her) and Mr. Meames drove from Virginia to Pinkville, USA to have Japanese at 8:00 (yum). Pink’s hilarious parents came with us. LOL! The same group for dinner last night met for breakfast at IHOP the following morning. After a couple hours of good food and fun, the Meameses were off back to Chris Country. See Meamesy for pics haha!
A while back, Pink purchased our tickets to the Greensboro show. The seats at first look were pretty crappy, but they ended up not being so bad (details on that in the Greensboro recap). But since I was going to be in town, we thought it would be a good idea to make the hour trek to Charlotte to meet the Idols before the show. We had NO intent on staying there for the concert. We did decide to linger and catch the Idols again after the show. We were on a budget.
We were running behind schedule, but as soon as we pulled up to the lot, the busses rolled in. Our timing was PERFECT! So we parked, got a spot at the barricade and were able to meet:
Noop Dogg (aka Pink’s future husband)
He was all business. He took NO pictures, only gave his autograph which was illegible. Nothing too memorable with him during this visit. We had him sign TANT!’s sign.
Kris (aka Pocket Idol)
I was shocked to see him because word online was that he only came out after the show due to pre-show press commitments. He was very sweet. We had him pose with the “Tiffany” sign.
Secks (no aka, just SECKS)
Pink will tell you, as soon as he came outside, I jumped so high that I believe my dress went up and I may have revealed my underwear. As you will see as reading my review, Pink & I forgot a lot of things whenever Secks came around. I literally lost my d#&% mind. LMFAO!
I do remember telling him how far I traveled and that we would be back tomorrow with gifts for him. I heard him call me “baby” two times and then he asked me for my name. Goodness knows how I remembered it at the time. Then he said something about “coming to see me” perform back home. At the time, I thought he was talking post-Idol stuff. But he was talking about the Detroit show that hadn’t happen yet. That didn’t dawn on me until days later. I tell you, Secks makes me DUMB And I forgot to have him pose with the “Tiffany” sign.
Not a flattering picture of me. I’m big, but I’m not THAT dang big. LOL! Now I know what Allison Iraheta feels like (she's TINY in real life, but I'm not).
Backing up a bit, Pink and I were shouting when he came through the door, “OMG, it’s SECKS!!! SECKS!!!” Then in front of me, a mom goes, “Um, excuse me but we have a 7-year-old here.” and apparently behind me where Pink was, the dad gave us a tongue lashing too, which I did not hear. But little did they know, if they thought saying “Secks” was so bad, wait until they saw the performance of the star attraction. Details later

Very sweet. We actually got him a gift and I’m not sure if we told him that it was coming the next day. We did have him pose with the Tiffany sign.
Gokes
ZOMG, this dude is FOINE in person, do you hear me?!! Like whoa! I took out my “Gokey glasses” for a picture.
Sorry for the crappy pic, but I had Pink take a pic of the pic with her phone so I could forward it to Meamesy while we were “out in the field”. LMFAO!

Forgot to tell Gokes that we had gifts for him. And dammit Hoarther, I forgot all about the “heart hands” all THREE times we met him. I hate myself with a passion! Haha!
As he made his way through the end of the line, Pink & I were talking to some other fans away from the barricade. Then Gokes looks across the way at me (Pink said he was looking at me for a while ) and was like, “Tell Tiffany I said ‘hi’.” Dude, that was like um 20 minutes ago & you still remember us AND TANT?! Like, can I have your babies?! NOW?!
So THEN I told him that I had a gift for him tomorrow in Greensboro. He was like “orly?!” The Idols LOVE gifts and they take them out and show one another what they got, which is what we find out later from Sarver Then he ASKED FOR OUR NAMES (I should have said, “Mrs. Gokey, if you nasty” ) and asked if we would be there before or after the show. So I said “BOTH”!
Also, Scott came out, but we had left the barricade by then. The crowd mostly consisted of fans of “Lord Lambert”
We met Char (Work2Deth) from The Richness, who was absolutely a delight! She was exactly how I imagined her. What a sweetheart! Char took pics of our meeting, which I’m sure she will share soon.
So we walked away looking for lunch or a ‘watering hole’ . Then we hear a loud scream. We wanted to see who it was (maybe Lord Lambert LMAO) but we walked back and didn’t see anyone. So we sat on the stairs and I started to take pictures of the outside of the arena. All of a sudden, a security guard opens one of the doors of the arena and motions me over.
He asks me if I had tickets to the show and I said “no”. So he looked kind of bummed, then it hit me. “Are you trying to get us good seats?!” I motioned Pink over. He basically told us that he couldn’t help us unless we had tickets to the show. So I asked how much were cheap tickets and he said that they were around $40. So I looked at Pink to see if it was worth it. After a moment of thinking, we decided to go inside and purchase the $40 tickets.
After buying tickets, we were told that we could stay inside the building for as long as we wanted (no one else could do this). It was great because it was VERY hot outside and we were sweating like Ruben Studdard.
So from the inside, that’s when we saw Scott come out to the barricade, which surprised us because we read that he doesn’t come out too often. We hung around for as long as we could, but no one else surfaced. So we headed to a bar for drinks and then we stopped by BK for a sandwich. We then headed back to the arena, and met our new friend (Mr. Security Man) to get arrangements for our seats. We knew that our cleavage would come in handy that day
At first, we were nervous because our seating arrangements were kind of ‘bootleg’ as I would normally say. We sat in the section close to the floor, but not on the floor. And then as people would come to claim their seat, we had to move down. Then finally, the security guy called us down and put us ON THE FLOOR BESIDE THE STAGE!!! We could see the Idols as they came out through the black curtain. They literally made a row in the very front and stuck us there. And then they provided us with tickets for our seats in case we had to go use the ladies room. It was GREAT!
We had a blast dancing and screaming in our AMAZING seats. Seats that we only paid $40 for! We stayed until the middle of Lord Lambert’s second number. Homeboy assaulted the microphone stand. Didn’t take a picture, but here’s a gif from that night courtesy of IDF. LMFAOOO!
Take that, “Secks” haters! And parents had an issue with the nickname “Secks”?! Hmm, okay.
I took many pictures that night, including the smoke machine (that’s how close we were). But like a dumb I deleted EVERYTHING!!! I ran out of memory and thought I could select certain pics and delete. But it was so dark in the arena, I FORMATED THE MEMORY CARD!!!! All we had from that day is what Pink took with her camera. Didn’t have Gokes & me or Gokes & the TANT! anymore sign . I was devastated. Then our arrangement for backstage access fell through. But we learned a valuable lesson that day thanks to Pink’s brother who used to work security in Greensboro. Security can get you better seats, but only the band or a radio station can get you backstage.
So we wasted a lot of time trying to figure out if the idols were going to be in the Founders Lounge, which is what we had wristbands for. So as a result, we did not get a good spot at the barricade. The line was RIDICULOUS, so we didn’t stay. We had Sunday on our mind. I had a mission: To get my solo picture with Secks (I love my hoar, but I gotta have some Storie/Secks 1 on 1 time in the photo album somewhere), another picture with Gokes, and a pic with Gokes and TANT’s sign (again ). This time, Pink vowed to whoop my if I deleted anything else. So I had TWO memory cards on hand and she demanded that I switched them after reuniting with the Idols that morning. LOL!
We were nervous at first because when the busses pulled in, we thought the Idols would be behind this TALL gate. We had heard that many things have changed this season, mainly because of psychos stalking Lord Lambert cross country. Once the busses pulled in, we see Lil behind the gate with her husband talking on the phone. Fans are screaming but she continues on her business as if no one is there. I tried to get a picture of her, but this is all I got
So all of a sudden, we get lined up…no barricade yet…and out comes Noop (hometown boy) and Sarver. We take pics with Sarver cuz Noop is a diva
We also give Sarver his gift, which we would see again later on a different Idol.
Michael comes back around at some point and we along with our new friends (who love Secks, Gokes, and Pocket Idol…not big Lord Lambert fans) decided to BEG Michael for backstage access. He said that it is hard to get passes the day of, but to tweet him anyway and see what he can do.
Alright, still no barricade. May we get SECKS with no protection?! Yes we do!!!!!!
We both lose our dang minds all over again. I apparently dropped TANT!’s sign when he got to me and it started to blow away (I was told) Again, all reasoning out the window when he comes along. So Secks remembers me and gives me a hug (I slightly remember) LMFAO! I just know that he was ON ME! Good lawed, I can’t STAND IT!!! Pink gives him his fly hat she got him and he represents in this picture with it:
I almost forgot to give him his stuff (the bag was still in my hand until Pink said something). LMAO! But Here’s what I got him (and Gokes):
Red cap for Gokes, blue cap for Secks (I wanted them to remember the girl in NC from Detroit…so that’s the only way I knew how to do it). Secks also got the olive Miami Ink shirt.
Pink has some really good pictures of me giving Secks his gifts.
And dangit, I didn’t get her on camera giving her gift, so I know that she hates me I lose my mind up in here, I swear, whenever that man is near.
Still in the process of losing my mind Pink took this blurry picture with my camera. LMAO! But it’s all good cuz we looked like we were in love. Yeah, I’m delusional. LMFAO!

We then see Gokes again and he remembers us!!! I gave him his gift and then I tell him my sob story on how my dumb deleted EVERYTHING. So like the angel he is, he recreates a few moments for me:
He goes in the opposite direction, so Pink comes up with this GREAT idea to catch him on the way back and get him on the phone with TANT! Pink did not get the whole convo (memory card full), so here’s what we got:
On his way out, one of our new friends that we met drafted a note, put my Twitter ID on there and passed it along to Gokes asking him to give it to Michael and to PLEASE help him to us get backstage. Haha! He was such a doll. GAH I love him.
So I think that was it for that morning. The next mission: BETTER SEATS! So we looked all around for horny security guards Only saw old gray haired men who looked like they had no connections. So we decide to enter two contests.
Pink talked me into embarrassing myself in a karaoke contest on the radio to win upgraded seats. Here’s a pic of us on the station’s website:
Needless to say, I can’t sing to save my life. Didn’t win that one. So we stayed until 7:00 for a drawing and didn’t win that one. So we just took it in the chin and went up to section 198749190085679. Actually, these seats weren’t too bad! They were front and center and from a completely different perspective than we had at the show the day before. Here’s a few of the shots I got from our seats.

We decided to hightail it out of there after Lord Lambert’s microphone stand rape I hate missing Pocket Idol and the final number, but we had to get moar Secks, Gokes, and Noop (I’ll let Pink lust over his hi-tops in her review LMFAO).
Got a FABULOUS spot at the brocade at the VERY beginning. The barricade was VERY long. We yaked it up with the funniest security guard you could ever meet I mean he was saying crazy things that had us DYING! We won’t repeat them here. You’ll see him in one of the pics.
Then Lord Lambert’s maiden came out along with Lil Rounds. OMG. Allison is TINY…do you hear me?! The camera LIES! She looks chubby on television. There is not an OUNCE of fat on this girl. We had her sign TANT’s sign too.
Sarver came out. He was HILARIOUS!
Loved his “oh no you di-ints” and other hilarious antics He also drove a point home to the fans, which would fall on deaf ears. Do NOT scream for another Idol’s name for them to come out while another Idol is signing autographs. “It HURTS” he said. But he claimed that he himself had tough skin.
Then Megan. Stunning.
We liked her hair on stage the day before better than this day. But I liked that she put it up after the show. She’s really stunning. We had her sign TANT’s sign. She also did something different today with her tattoo. It looked AMAZING on stage.
Pocket Idol FTW!
So he signs stuff, take pictures, and there is this girl behind us who was HILARIOUS the whole fricken time! Every time an Idol came up, she throws this mug in front of us and goes “*Such and Such*, would you please sign my mug?!” LMFAOOO. I mean you had to be there. It was the funniest thing EVER. So then Pocket Idol comes over and homegirl goes, “Mr. Allen, would you please sign my mug” We were DYINGGG! Kris had this CRAZY look on his face like “WTF”?! So I go “Mr. Allen’s your dad,” and he goes, “Seriously!” LMFAO! It was too funny! So at that moment, Pink and I were like, “Come up here with us and get your mug signed, girl!” ROTFLOL!
Later on, the “ADAM! ADAM!” chants got WAY outta control. So by the time Lil came back towards the front where we were, she had enough. So she stopped signing autographs, threw up her hands, and GTFO of there with her man. Don’t blame her ONE BIT!
This little girl was BAWLING! Shouting and yelling because Adam wouldn’t come out. So she got the Adam chants started off and on. AND she was begging and crying to Allison to tell her homey to come out. And Allison felt SOO bad. But as Michael told us earlier, homeboy wasn’t coming out. Adam wasn’t one of our favorites, but we wanted to do the impossible and take a picture of him or with him to see if it could be done. And we never had that chance. I wonder if we would have the day before. Oh well! We got our men and that’s all we cared about!

I may be going out of order here (Pink may correct me). But I think get Secks again. Pink wanted a hug and wanted to get it on camera. I also got my hug, and get TWO MORE “BABY”’S
Again, I lose my mind when Secks is near. I try to push the camera off to Pink and apparently, I hand it to her but I didn’t let it go. LMFAO! So you get to see Secks’ face before my hug. Ahaha!
Gokes comes out and I wanted a hug from him too. So Pink got it on camera. “It’s me again” I started
Pink’s future husband came out
We didn’t have anything for him to sign since he already signed TANT’s sign. And he wasn’t taking any pictures with the fans. He just doesn’t know how to do it like the others do (aka multitask). And he doesn’t write his name right. He’s a lazy future celebrity LOL! Not sure why Pink loves him so much LMFAO! But as he walks past me, Pink goes, “Wait a minute! Is that the hate we got Michael?!” I look. WTF!!!
I’m like, “I need an explanation”…is Michael giving away our gifts?! So I spoke up: “Um, is that the hat we got for Michael?!” Then he has one of the most guilty faces I’ve ever seen and replies, “um, yeah.” The line started cracking up! Then he goes, “But I’m giving it back, though!” So we let him live And the hat still had the tags on it. But it was a very funny moment to see Noop try and shovel himself out of that one. Haha!
And that’s all I remember. It was such a blast…a time to remember. I will never forget not only these two day s with the Idols, but my time with my friends, Pink, Meames, and of course, Pink’s mom and dad. I wish I could have seen more of you there. I saw Char and I was told that Firstmate was there in Charlotte, but we did not see her
It is my goal in life to have more moments like these. So let’s do it again, shall we? Hopefully we can do things like this when ever Chris Rich branches out of Virginia to perform or maybe I will be there when Secks & Gokes come to your town.

So Storie pretty much summed it up. It was an AMAZING weekend and I'm so glad I got to share it with my hoar Thats the first time we've seen each other in 2 YEARS!! Dinner and breakfast with Meamesy and Mr. Meames was great! 2 of the nicest people you will ever meet in your life.
So on the drive to Charlotte we hit some BAD rain which instantly put my bi-polar self in a negetive state of mind. But when we got there the sun was shining, as Im driving around the arena stressing because I can't find a 'safe' parking spot I look in the rear view and was like "Holy THERES THE BUSES!!" So we park and make a mad dash to the front of the building JUST in time.
These are the FIRST views of seeing Secks and Gokes in the flesh so I had to capture them coming out the door:
So my fetish with Anoop started back after he was eliminated the FIRST time. I was drunk in a bar (go figure) and I see a group of guys, immediately me being the hoar I am has to go see whats up. And in my drunken state I recognize Anoop!!! So I talk his head off and take shots with him and his friends. And according to my friend Brittany we talked to them for a good 20 minutes before they left. I had his number and txted with him a few times but once he was chosen as a wild card, the communication stopped ANYWAYS.... These shoes make my life and THEY are the reason I wanna have his babies. Plus he has mad swag, which is a weakness of mine.
We met Charlotte, as Storie said, and her mother and her were total sweethearts. It was really great getting to meet them. I love meeting new Richness peeps that I've spent so much time with online haha.
In the video of my Secks hug, you can hear my country azz telling him he better wear the hat I bought him and his response "She got demaaaands!" I love it so much! And I love how he continued to talk to us even after he passed us.
A few random ramblings:
-Gokes is TOTALLY hot in person and I've got a crush now. He is a complete gentlemen and sweetheart and was sooo generous with his time with us and the things we were doing for TANT.
-Secks smelled soooo frickin good. But like Storie said, when he came around it's a blur. I'm sure we will be remembering stuff months from now as it hits us. He called me sweetheart and darlin... I would have rather had sexy but I ain't complaining
-Sarver is the most underrated and underappreciated of the Idols, he is so much fun and so beyond great with his fans! He spent more time out there than anyone and had conversations with pretty much EVERYONE.
-Pocket Idol is adorable. When you meet him, you really want to put him in your pocket!
-Scott almost signing my face was the funniest thing ever. Storie missed it bc she was laughing that he signed over someone else's signature. I literally had to put my hand up and back away or I would have Scott's signature on my forehead in permanant marker.
-"Mug girl" cracked me up, it was a highlight of the weekend. I still laugh everytime I think about it
-Lord Lambert molesting the microphone and the stage BLEW MY MIND. How is a parent going to get mad at us for saying "Secks!" and let their child watch him rape the stage in front of thousands of people?!?
-Megan is GORGEOUS and I love her tattoo's. She had tattoo's on both her feet as well which I THINK were cherry blossoms. It was some kind of flower and branches... anyways I loved it.

I still wish like heck that I could have been there. When I got the news that I couldn't be there, I was absolutely devastated. But I have got to say, storie and pink did SO MUCH to make me feel like I was there and I am forever in debt to them. I cannot thank them enough!!!!!
Ya'll's reviews were absolutely fantastic. By the way, when ya'll told me Danny said, "Tell Tiffany I said Hi!" I did not realize it was like 20 minutes after ya'll talked to him the first time. That makes it even more awesome. Gokes was my first love for that season of Idol and will probalby always be my #1. So getting all the love from him and that phone call...LAWWWWWD! No words for it! And pink!!!! See, storie and I had been tryin to tell you for so long how fine Danny was. Glad you finally are with us on that one!
Secks, oh secks. Soooooo utterly delicious even in all ya'll's pictures. Mmmm hmmm. You can just see his swag oozing through the pictures! True to our name for him...Secks. Defs agree that it's pretty crazy that parents are goin nuts over you guys calling him Secks when Lord Adam is all molesting the microphone on stage. but whatevs.
Sorry that you deleted all your pics from that first day hoarie. Wish we could have seen those as well. But at least Pink had some to show off. And at least Gokes was nice enough to recreate some moments for you. What an absolute sweetheart!!!
OVerall, I'm still bummed that I wasn't able to be there. Not only did I miss my two hoars, but I also missed some Meamesy time and getting to meet Char. But again, I can't thank storie and pink enough for everything they did to make me feel like I was there. I KNOW we'll do it all again someday and I can't wait to see all my RichPeeps again! IT's been far too long. Two years is just too much time to go by without seeing some of my favs. Hopefully our boy Chris Rich will get to touring someday and we can all meet lots of each other during that time.
