I'm not kidding, there's one that's already been nominated for a Grammy! 
And all the girls are drop-dead gorgeous, some are models on the side. Pink and I think that Idol has a new "requisite" this year to be accepted to have already done some songwriting and demos and stuff. Not so great for the little people who haven't been "discovered" yet.

Yeah Airen, I just read that 15 of the top 50 have done background vocals, released singles or been in the public eye before. Also, the Grammy Nom. guy is Jermaine Paul.... he's done several duets with Alicia Keys including one of her radio hits... idk the name of it but it's like "I won't tell your secrets... the pages in your diary" haha maybe it's called "Diary" 
Also Syesha, was on the ABC reality show "The One"
Hmmm maybe AI 8 will include falling muscians... we might get to see the return of Vanilla Ice and Ricky Martin.

Anyone else notice under the list of people who made it through at least round one, there is a John sligh (Chris Sligh's brother)?
Yea, but other than that, totally lame. AI Grammy nominees should SO not be included, IMO.....

I agree Nurse the point of AI is to discover talent, if they have been nominated for a grammy obviously they have been discovered. and I always loved the fact that the people on AI were like real people ya know, its not kool having tons of models. boo!

I will watch as usual. I do think it is totally unfair that people that have already had grammy nominations or such should be allowed to audition! but, i will say this, i dont think i would ever vote for him in top 24 week! i just dont want someone that has experience like that winning 
i dont see any people on that list from virginia this time that is a bummer. i loved seeing someone from va the last 2 years.

wow i agree on this one! whats funny is my sisters boyfriend who is 19 years old is named David Miller and this guy is 20 and named Brian David Miller LOL.

The thing I loved about Idol is watching ordinary people live their dreams. And watching them grow as artist from beginning to end. It just won't be the same if they start bringing in contestants that already have professional experience. I mean, someone with a Grammy nomination isn't your boy or girl next door.
