GIANTS NOT WORRIED IF TIKI TURNS TRAITOR
By STEVE SERBY
TIKIBLABBER: Tiki Barber (left) might try to impart some secret Giants info to brother Ronde and the Bucs.
January 3, 2008 -- Even now - especially now - Tiki Barber casts a giant shadow over the Giants.

The coach who influenced his decision to retire, Tom Coughlin, will be scheming against Barber's twin brother, Ronde, on wild-card Sunday in Tampa.

Since blood is thicker than the water in East Rutherford, will Tiki leak house secrets to Ronde, the gifted Bucs cornerback?

"Of course, he would," Plaxico Burress told The Post yesterday.

Does that bother you?

"It doesn't bother me at all," Burress said. "You still gotta go out and play. ... Why wouldn't he do it? That's so Tiki Barber-ish. Why would you expect anything else?"

When Tiki questioned Eli Manning's leadership skills in the summer, Manning fired back, and delighted his teammates.

Eli to Tiki: You can't hurt us.

"I don't know if there's anything he can reveal that'll give anything away on what we're doing," Eli Manning told The Post. "He doesn't know how our offense has changed, or different things, so I'm not concerned about it."

Everyone remembers Tiki standing on the sidelines cheering his brother to a Super Bowl championship five years ago. He's an NBC analyst now. An ex-Giant.

"He has no more ties to us, and that's his brother," linebacker Reggie Torbor said. "I'm pretty sure we don't do exactly the same things as we did a year ago when he was here, so ... if he can give 'em something that you can't pick up on film, so be it."

Would that bother you?

"No," Torbor said. "It's just as if someone used to play for this team and got traded, and they were traded to the Bucs. They're gonna tell 'em everything they know; that's just how it is. It just comes [down] to execution. ... We know a lot of plays people are about to run from watching tape, but ... it comes down to execution."
