It's always easy to second guess, but I feel they should have been in both games.

Yes, a least those who were healthy. We came into the playoffs losing 2 in a row, and 3 out of 4. Not much momentum there.

The only one I think he should have give more playing time was Garcia...

Before the game, I was for sitting him cause I didn't want him hurt but, with the time he lost with his back AND sitting, I think he lost some of his timing with the receivers.

Garcia was rested a couple games before that, he definitely didnt need rest, should have played to get timing back with recievers.

But the defense didnt look rested at all

IMO, you rest those who need it, in terms of rust etc, it's not like Garcia and the like, have just been let out of a box, they've been playing and training for months and months, no one moans about the "G-connection" and Joey G has an extra day off, every week for heavens sake.
Most players and staff would seem to agree, if you can rest up late in the year, then rest up.

BM mentioned it, JG was banged up, the truth is, we were beaten by the better team, we were never going to get to the Championship game, let alone win the Superbowl.

I agree with you, Merlin, that we were never going to the championship game.  However, I still think it was totally hosed to sit the starting lineup for the last two regular season games.
