Bradshaw to Romo: Everybody Knows You Played Horribly When Jessica Showed Up

Where was Terry Bradshaw last week? The Hall of Fame quarterback and four-time Super Bowl winner, now best known as "the bald guy" on the Fox NFL Sunday pregame show, has some advice for Tony Romo:

"For an athlete, there's no time off ... until it's over," said Bradshaw. ... "Tony is obviously different than me. He's one of the young kids who wears his cap on backward. It's cool. And God bless him. I like the heck out of Tony Romo. I just wouldn't have done what he did ... I couldn't allow my mind to go there."

Bradshaw's right, he and Romo are different. I suspect most NFL head coaches wouldn't be all that excited to know the quarterback was living it up south of the border the week before the biggest game of the season. But I can't imagine it will have any bearing on Sunday's outcome.

But Bradshaw seems to be arguing that the perception of Romo on vacation with his B-list girlfriend a week before the playoffs is more than enough to fuel concerns about his recent struggles. It also provides a ready-made "See, I told you so!" excuse if Romo lays another postseason egg.

Bradshaw adds: "If only Tony had called me and said, 'Terry, Jessica and I are going to go to Mexico,' I would've told him: 'You crazy? Don't do that! The paparazzi is going to find you, man. You're a star. She's a star. It's just going to happen.' "

Of course, tight end Jason Witten was in Mexico too, but oddly, nobody is calling him out. Maybe he's not famous enough. Or something.

Never enough papparazzi, these stories get monotonous after awhile. I guess he better have the game of the year this weekend now or we will be hearing about it the rest of the off season

Yeah, I'm pretty tired of the way people are over playing this...it's stupid.
The guy was on a bye week (i.e. time off) and obviously, he wasn't the only player to take a little vacation...who cares what these guys do in their time off.  Bradshaw is just trying to controversial and stir the pot.
