According to Yahoo Sports...
The Green Bay Packers QB has told the Team of his decision to retire after 17 Seasons in the NFL...
This comes as a surprise to almost everyone who felt the 13-3 record they had last year would bring him back for one more...

| It's true...Brett's gonna retire. While I'm surprised, I'm not shocked by his decision. It's a sad day in Packer nation, but also a day to sit back and reflect on all the great memories that Brett has given us over the past 17 years. What a ride it was! Thank you Brett for everything! But...life goes on, and it's Aaron Rodgers' show now. I hope my fellow Packer fans will be patient with Aaron, because he will be a good QB, but it's not gonna be easy following Brett. I guess for you Bucs fans, it's kinda sad too, because the Packers are gonna be playing in Tampa this year...and even though you don't have to worry about facing Brett anymore...I'm willing to bet most of you were looking forward to watching him play. Thanks again Brett! |

Yes packerbacker,
The Bucs will play Green Bay this year and not seeing Brett standing on the other side will different that's for sure and a little sad...

Figured he would retire after I saw that Moss got his contract.
Wouldn't it have been fun to watch Favre throwing to Moss!!
