WILSON CLOSE TO JOINING THE BUCS?

There’s a suggestion at the bottom of an item in the St. Petersburg Times that New England Patriots safety Eugene Wilson could soon be signing with the Buccaneers.
Wilson has been trying to decide between the Bucs and the Tennessee Titans. In Tampa, Wilson would play safety or cornerback.
He’d fill a spot on the roster occupied by safety Kalvin Pearson, who joined the Lions when the Bucs decided not to match the three-year, $3.5 million offer that had been made to the restricted free agent.
