Bucs Assistant Sued By KSU
The Tampa Tribune
TAMPA - Raheem Morris' return to the Bucs could prove costly.
Morris, the Bucs' popular and so far exceptionally effective secondary coach, is being sued by his previous employer for breach of contract, Morris' agent confirmed. Kansas State is asking Morris to pay them more than $106,000 for resigning from his post early. Morris, who returned to the Bucs last year, signing a two-year contract, left his job as Kansas State's defensive coordinator after one year. He originally signed a four-year contract with the school.
His contract with Kansas State reportedly contained a clause that called for him to repay a signing bonus, moving expenses and six months' salary should he leave before March 2007.
